New guy from the islands

Hi fellow shuttle owners I'm new to this site and wanted to share my rt4x4 with all of you .
It's a 91 rt shuttle with 5 speed an a/c it was bone stock witch witch I don't have a picture of
all the previous owner did was have it painted...I've had two other wagons which one was an 90 dx,and the other a 86 which I don't have pics of either
ive got a pic of the rt on how it is now but I'll post a picture later on today

welcome, my friend Mark lives on the big island he has a black turbo integra
  • Thanks for the comps...yeah and this is kinda rare on the island one of the only rt wagons if not the only one I know about, that's why I had to spend 2200 on a 20+ year old car. I like my shuttle a lot and it's my third one was a 86 5 speed with a/c, other was a 90 fwd 5 speed.

1988rt what part of the island is he from?

Ive got a few question to ask everyone which I'm sure has bin asked but I wanna boost my wago and I just bought a complete z6 with 150,*** and a blown head gasket....

  • Props on the clean wagon! As far as the turbo question, how much boost did you wanna run? Most stock motor set-ups are running 5-7 psi.
  • Im not sure yet on how much I wana boost/hp goal..... But I want a fun dd, I gotta get a turbo kit...or build my long block first I just purchased that z6 setup which had a blown head gasket, I wana get oem bearings, Arp head studs an rod bolts besides that I'm on debate of parts due to funds...any ideas on a descent z6 build that's affordable for boost?
  • Hello,
Also from the Big Island. My 91 Shuttle has just had the rear hatch destroyed in a parking lot mishap. Anybody have a lead on a replacement? Could also use driver's door rubber seals, a set of hood hinges.
Any help? This was my grandfather's car.
  • Idk parts are impossible to find on the island, I found a few shuttles and got lucky, and found a few more that they just won't let go but I'll keep an eye out for you... I saw one on a recker going to the dump not to long ago in kona but that's probly history and ended up in the land fill...hurts my hart would of love to have it for parts
