doing some body work, and ran into this!

Another member recommended the o-ring. I checked it out, and it was not.

I believe I found the leak.

Does anybody know what that part is called? I think it maybe warped.

To make matters a little more frustrating, I was going to change my spark plugs when I found oil in there.
I had replaced the seals in may, with the o-ring as well.

Yikes. I'd brakekleen all that shit, see where it's leaking, and then resolve it. Keep a close eye on it, and find the culprit. Doubt it's warped (unless its the head, leta hipe not) but there's prolly a gasket that needs to be sorted...

I'd recommend replacing the valve cover seals.

I'm not sure if there is a gasket for the water neck. I'd have to check the service manual, but Hondabond would work there just fine.
  • I aam going to replace the seals tomorrow again. Well, look and ttry to find out if it is the seal, which I hope it is!
It is called a water neck? I did not know that!
  • Do you think there could be one problem causing both leaks?
