Hey guys, I am working on a setup, but give me time. My D16 just busted a connecting rod, so I'm going to be swapping in a new shortblock cause its cheaper and faster than rebuilding the bottom end. if I buy a 2nd car, i'll go ahead and do the B-swap into my EK that I've wanted to do.
I'm still exploring options into what else can be done for the rear setup, but my goal is to try and have a rear disc setup that will clear 14s because I've realized that there are a lot of you wagon guys who rock steelies, most of em being 14", so I'll try and meet that clearance!

i spaced the 14's not fitting in the rear.... i need to check this out cuz i plan on running Rt's with winter
You won't see any 90-up Integras or disc brake equipped 90-up Civics/CRXs that will fit OEM style 13" wheels on the back. They didn't come that way from the factory either. Only 14" and up. I know you could probably make it work with spacers to move the wheel out, but otherwise it won't fit.
I don't wanna excite anyone but for those of you watching me, I'm moving my big ass machine to my own home very soon. I've got some RT trailign arms here and I'm figuring out what calipers can work on the rear, there is no way a civic/integra caliper can clear a 13" or 14" wheel without cutting a hole in the trailing arm, so I'm looking into other ideas. I will make something that can be sold as a kit though.
I have to run 16" to clear my nsx calipers with 12.1" front rotor + 11.1" rears on my 1st gen wgn.. I'm down for a set of simple rear discs for my 2 89' wagos
Damn I thought I was the only one running 12" NSX fronts with 11" NSX rears. I challenge you to a brake off then to when I have my 12" NSX rears too, hehe.
just an update . i have eg sedan rear lower control arms and 00 gsr rear disk brakes on the back of my 88 wagon and 00 gsr front brakes as well it wasnt hard gust swapped the spindles over and used the my gsr rear shocks .

it is a little trickier with 4wd. Hmm... is the trouble with adding a rear caliper with an adapter plate clearance issues with the rear trailing arm that makes you either have to clearance the arm or move the caliper which creates issues with the parking brake hook up and stuff?
Ok I just have a quick question. I have a set of crx rear disk and a set of da rear disk, which one would be better. Would either set-up be a straight bolt on affair. I mean I'm pretty handy with a wrench but it's my daily so don't need a ton of down time. Thanks
Note for everyone waiting on the rear disc setup: Research sucks and its taking a while. I've found out certain calipers won't work, but now that I have some more money I'm buying and test fitting certain calipers for clearences to see if a bolt on adapter can be made. I really think one can, its just a matter of which.

I won't have any measurable amount of money till next spring but if there is anyway I can help out let me know.

So it looks like adapter plates wouldn't be interchangable between 2wd and 4wd right?
i dont know about wagons with rear discs, but i have rear disc and the rt4wd on my sedan. that was actually very easy. took me about a day to put up the diff and about an hour and a half to do rear discs. i didnt notice the wagon trailing arms being longer than mine, i thought there were the same length. i just took the parts and swapped what i needed... ill look at them later and see if i can get good pics

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with
