Just an update, I know its been forever. I have a rear disc prototype, however it requires 15" wheels most likely cause its an 11" disc. However it uses a regular civic caliper, WILL allow for the e-brake and requires no cutting into the trailing arm. I want to test this locally in GA on a 2WD version first, as the hubs bolt on, should there be a problem, and the adapters I made will fit the 2WD and 4WD trailing arms/spindles. Sorry for the severe lack of updates, I haven't forgotten. Anyone with a 2WD wagon willing to be a guinea pig? EDIT: Sorry nevermind, I see a rear disc adapter has finally been made already. Can't figure out where that guy found the space that I could not.
The hang up right now is the parking brake cable bracket. I'm trying to keep everything within the original pricing schedule, but having another machined piece made and still remaining cost effective is proving difficult.
For me two reasons:
You need a bracket for 260mm disc diameter (4WD arm is a lot bigger), these ones are 240mm if I'm not wrong.
You have to increase the diameter of the center hole too much (clearance with 4WD hub), brackets will not be strong enough after this enlargement.
Maybe there are others reasons but I stopped here...
I don't have an RTA and haven't had a chance to look at them. Some quick google'foo some time ago did show that the RTAs on the 2WD are different from the Civic and CRX RTAs.
Just a little bit of info here: The rear disc was offered as a option to the JDM market, I'm able to see the parts diagrams but can't pull up a part number as a accessories catalogue is required.

Good info could help in the processes I know honda is the type to make all their cars able to be easily modified to have other options I.e even though a strut bar wasn't offered in America to civic hatchbacks my ek came pre dented for exact drilling locations for studs for the strut bar, what I'm saying is honda tends to make as we all know interchangeable parts there might just be a Frankenstein available with already available parts and minor drilling

ok, so i just read through this entire threat/post
i'm going to be calling Lowflyin' and hopefully order the break adapter that he's made
but my scenario is a little tricky lol
basically i'm rebuilding my 1990 CRX Si into AWD using an LS/Vtec motor, an AWD 5 Speed CRV trans, Civic wagon driveline with VC, wagon rear diff, wagon subframe, wagon trailing arms and axles.
so from what i've gathered i have to shorted the wagon trailing arms to fix in my CRX and then use the adapter that Lowflyin' has made to keep my CRX Si's rear disc brakes
i've got both the CRX and RT4WD trailing arms side by side and i can see what adjustments i need to make have it fit up into my CRX
i really haven't found ANYONE doing what i'm doing, so it's all new/just make it work lol
CRX Frame + Integra Motor + AWD CRV Trans + Civic Wagon Rear End = BAD ASS
should be a lot of fun when i'm done with it all because the winters here in Michigan are snowy and lots of fun

Never hurts to have more options around here.
Ditto all the above. Would rather help a from a fellow board member out anyway.
The brackets are still holding up just fine on the wagon, so I think they have passed my desired 6 mo stress testing.
Yes, everything is holding up great!
Took it out to Hallett this weekend and it did quite well. Could use some fatter, stickier tires and a more aggressive brake pad.
It did! Solid beam rear axle, though.

Pics were taken down until I have a released product.
