Damn, I'm jealous of your super clean white wagon! I want a panda!!! Looking forward to seeing what you do with this beauty.
  • Thanks guys. This is my favorite car yet and I have owned a lot.

So I have done a bit more dropped it and put a Neuspeed short shifter, re located the license plate. I will post pics later.

I'm having some issues with changing the manifold to fuel injection my buddy at honda is telling me I have to change the dizzy because of a crank sensor? Anyways I got a intake manifold, harness and a PM6 ecu ill post pics later

What kind of Intake mani are you putting on? and yeah Sweeeeeet Panda

Im sure you'll find info on DPFI to MPFI Swap on the forum.
  • The manifold came off of a single cam ZC 1.6 I think engine code in the states is D16A6 and I got the motor harness because it is spliced to the injector harness. I think ill just try to find the injector harness somewhere thou make it easier on me.

Also I need a resistor box

Damn im jealous! i wish my white wagon was this clean! Good luck with the build!
  • So clean, just throw some wheels on there.
  • Thanks for the compliments.

I'm going to either get cx 13"s with tires for 200 or save my money and buy these 15"s with a lip that I have had my eye on for awhile.
  • JhampsterJhampster Band Wagon
    i just picked up some drag dr41 15x7 +10 for $65 a wheel :P

  • Thanks guys I just got my wisdom teeth pulled so that set me back a lil bit I'm going to try to convert to MPFI this week.

Jhampster... that's super cheap for wheels! Can you tell me your likes and dislikes about them.
  • JhampsterJhampster Band Wagon
Yeah i wanted 15x8's but when i came across the 15x7's at discount on sale i couldn't pass up $65 bucks per rim brand new. So far i don't have any dislikes about them, going to roll my fenders tomorrow hopefully so i can lower the front more
  • Just get a baseball bat and a heat gun! I'm just playing don't do that:nightmare:

wow your wag is so sexy! by any chance did you cut the front springs also thats a nice drop for some springs... are they the sports or racing?
  • No I didn't cut the front ones. There 2" race. They came off a 89 sedan and I cut two coils off the rear one at a time. Took it apart put it back together see how it would ride and the drop then took it apart and cut the second coil off. It didn't change the ride.
  • So I went to Neuspeed to buy some strut bars but they discontinued older honda parts and sold everything in the shop. After talking with them for awhile I decided to buy a license plate holder but when I tried to pay for it they would'nt take my money Way To Go Neuspeed! I'm stoked rockin my free Neuspeed frame.
  • I posted twice so I delete one.
  • I removed my A/C it did'nt work and I gained not only engine bay space but also some torque and hp by making the car lighter. Also because I took out the condensor my radiator gets more air. Now for traction I am going to fab a front splitter.

Since I removed my A/C anyways i figured this would be a good clean path to get wire harness from ECU to the engine bay.

I did a compression test I can't belive that a motor with 246,000 miles still has almost 170 across all 4 cylinders.

    581.jpg

    But look at #1 Cylinder

    582.jpg

    583.jpg

I even had time to put my Buddah in the car!

I LOVE the white/black set up. Looks great! What did you do about #1 cyl?
  • Nothing yet I'm looking for a single cam zc so when she blows I can swap in my new motor. I might swap the manifold next week so ill check the valve guides when I have the cover off and inspect everything else.
