My Honda Shuttle EE4 with JRSC

Hi guys since i was not able to edit my first thread after the forum upgrade, and this is a new car i thought i could start a new project thread :)

A user on the Norwegian Honda forum (CHN.no) that i know pretty well needed to sell his Shuttle to get money for his new hobby (shortcars)
and since my old Shuttle was soooo full of cancer that there was no hope. i went over to the other side of Norway and picked me up a new one :)

Pros
- Jackson Racing Supercharger kit
- With custom pulley on the charger and a D16Y8 pulley on the engine equals around 9 PSI. OBD2 pulley on the power steering to make things fit.

- Custom 4-2-1 header to clear the transfer case

- Innovate Motorsports LC-1 lambda and gauge

- Civic gen. 5 radiator

- Road mapped with TurboEdit and Moates emulator

- alot of ES poly bushings

- Civic front springs in the rear for more fun in the winter

Cons
- weird grinding noise in reverse

- left drive axel has some noise

- oem cluch

- goes into safe mode in 1 in 50 engine starts, (most likely the Moates emulators fault)

- rear hatch is reaaaally rusted.

- some dings and scratches

Plans
- MOT

- Paint

- Get some on the norwegian forum to burn me a chip

- Wheels (need tips here, was going to buy Diamond Racing Wheels, since this is a budget build, but i hear that some says quality sucks and they are really slow on answering emails)

- have some coilovers waiting for it

- buy camber kit (do i need it? which one? )

- New steering wheel

- Rear mid wing

Those enkeis will look nice but i saw on there that you were looking to get some diamond racing steelies but youre worried about the quality. Some of tyhe stuff youve heard is true, older sets of them are fine but newer sets are outsourced to china for a cheaper product and cheaper quality. But if youre still wanting a custom set of steelie style wheels check out circletracksupply.com or circletrackimports.com. the owner is Chaife(he got wagon of the month this month in his 3rd gen). Check out my thread and you can see what a set of them look like, and we are about to put a set with beadlocks on chips(3rd4ce) wagon that we are helping him work on

  • Its cool to see whats going on across the world. Really nice find on your wagon keep up the good work. In my experience I have found to get suspension to fit you have to change the top hats or lca's like your thinking. I would get either after market or Si ones then you can add a rear swaybar too.
  • SaXXXonSaXXXon New Wagonist
great to hear. there's some activity just in a muuuuch smaller scale. so i dont need both? the Blox ones for the CRX looks like a good and not to expensive part
  • 89-91 CRX should be a direct swap for 89-91 wagons, since you have the 91 CRX coilovers and a 91 wagon they should bolt right up, there shouldn't be a difference between EDM and USDM I don't think. (I have coilovers for 89-91 CRX on my 90 wagon). The ones that are different are pre-88 and you have to get different LCA's because the bottom mounts on the rears are different.

To make sure look at the LCA's you have on the shuttle and if the mounting looks the same as your coilovers, then they should work.

not sure which version, i'll have to check. but it's fitted with this http://www.xenocron.com/demon-eprom-emulator-and-datalogging-hardware-p-461.html

just passed MOT and the wagon is almost ready for winter now. that means it's lowered :P now i just need to fit the winter tires and maybe the big ass driving lights again.

and maybe i should get a front lip? suggestions?
