its the same as any other civic transmission. only real difference is that you need to pull the drive line before you remove it. Easiest way to do so is to pull the whole motor as wagons have smaller engine bays than any other civic.

easiest way is to pull hole motor. Really?

the easiest way to remove a transmission is always pulling the motor in my opinion. I like to make the least amount of work possible. yanking a civic motor is simple! why are you looking to pull the tranny?

I agree. Easier to pull the whole package, replace the clutch, and put it all back in.

I did it W/O removing the engine, but close.

    Remove all the usual stuff(exh.,cables,wiring,axles,etc.).
Place a floor jack with a block of wood under the oil pan to remove the pressure off the mounts.
Unbolt all mounts EXCEPT the upper one by the timing belt(driver's side usdm).I did loosen the center bolt to not stress the mount.
Angle down the eng . w/the jack & remove tranny. This way you don't need to remove all those eng. harnesses, vac. lines, mount, etc.I was tooo lazy to do that.

PS.Good time to upgrade the brke MC/booster,alt,custom headers & clutch, flywhl & TO brg.
