Found aftermarket new fenders for 88-91 wagons

I have a bashed drivers fender. I have looked everywhere and have found only used beat up ones for $250 and up. Until today! I ordered a new drivers aftermarket fender from Michigan. I will post the link to where I got it from when I recieve it and fit it. The cost with shipping to Iowa is $165. The fender itself is $65. Shipping price may vary on your location. Hope this is helpfull

    lol

    Hope this is helpful haha

I hope for the sake of the community that they work out.

But, equally one of my favorite parts about being a wagon owner is the fact that parts ARE hard to come by. And not just a credit card away. I say that after having to wait over 4 months to get a good fender myself.

I used my credit card to purchase a fender but I wish it would have been as easy as that. I called every body parts dealer that we use and they gave us nubers to call. Then they gave me numbers to call. I put a bounty out. Offered a dinned of choice and a 12pack to the dude that can find them. My homie at LKQ sent me in the right direction. Costed me the price of the fender shipped, a chicken dinner, and a 30 pack of bucsh light

There is two wagovans in my area and I have dibs on them if they are wrecked or sold. So chances are I wont find any in the junk yard. I tried Craigslist in my surounding states with no luck. Internet salvage yards were expesive as well as ebay. I should recieve my aftermarket fender no later than friday bam bam

Wow, if you want part to be hard to find then you should really pick up an 87 like I have, parts and the car's are even rarer, lol.

No Sir, seems as if they only have them for the other models...
  • Used fender with a tiny ding at wrecking yard, cost me $30. $250??? Really? I'd want a bumper, lights and both fenders, maybe even a hood too for that.
  • turbo_tegturbo_teg Council Member
I kinda figured they had made them at one point because my gold wagon had a drivers fender that didnt fit perfect and i always figured it was due to it being aftermarket.
  • so was the fender correct or what??
