Air bag/ride suspension

Ive been thinking about doing an air suspension. Has anyone tried this at all? The reason I would like to do this is for around town driving and show and switch over to regular springs for track days as to not wear out the bags and possibly puncture one. What do you guys think?

How often do you plan on racing this thing?????? If it is often i would think changing them over all the time would be a pain. The Tein HAs I have adjust pretty easy. Jack up the car and turn the locks a little bit. I can change the height of the car in about 5 minutes now. Just my .02.

Airbags would be a complete waste of oney IMHO.

And do they even allow for easy reverse modification?

i dont think the switching back and forth would work so well. those airbags take some serious modification to fit n such. stick with a sick racing setup, and like ragenasian said, those things are easily adjustable.

i think the only reason one should put bags on the wagon would be for show, and strictly show. bags, IMO, have no performance advantages. but if you wanna pimp out the wagon for all show, then by all means put it on airbags.

I don't think its just the airbags themselves you need to worry about, what about all the hoses, hose fittings, airtank, compressor? Thats not stuff you can put in and out in a short period... otherwise every man and his dog would have it.

Im with Pacifier on this one.

How many Lincoln Town Cars are still just drooping their rear ends everywhere. Everyone Ive worked on has has been dried out or cracks in the bags and lines.
