bisimoto header (d series)

I was looking in to getting the bisimoto header. I was wondering what if any major differences there is between the real bisi header compared to the replica. Any help would be much appreciated. If this has all ready been coverd a link is all I need

from 2 very close friends experiences, the replica probably fits and has better welds. both of their's sucked. just check dso if you need to know anything about bisi.

did you guys see the youtube video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOMawdgp ... AAAAAAACAA

pretty sad when you have to say it is made in the usa. but forgot to mention, with china quality

theres a big thread on dso about how crappy the bisi header is made. and the customer service they provide for them
  • The difference is one company did the research and development for the product and the other copied the design and is charging much less.

IMO, dont get bisi's frankly for the price you pay it's worth getting some tri-Y's and actually having some ground clearance. Bisi's are nice enough but they gave me some average customer service, didnt bother cleaning up the welds on the inside and for an exhaust I ask for specifications (Aka MUST FIT A FULL SIZE RAD THAT I ALREADY HAD AND NOW NO LONGER FITS) i would have better spend my money elsewhere.

    Hytec's, they sexy as hell.

I've heard mixed things about bisimoto's quality and customer service over the years, not relating to anything for the wagon, but more in general.

Personally from my research, I would opt for the replica. Apparently, there is a lower failure rate (cracked welds and fitment) from the replica vs the original. It is also cheaper. Blah, blah, blah Bisimoto put the time, money and effort in to make the V2 header. Too bad you spend close to $1000, don't get a header that fits, don't get a header that lasts, and don't get a header that is as well made as the knock-off header. I have no personal experience with a Bisimoto d-series V2 header. I base my opinion on others who have though.
