No new pics today, it's too damn cold to stay out there in the shop!
I did get a few things accomplished:
Fab & install EGR blockoff plate
Speedo drive swap
some fuel and vac lines
a little wiring
I'm waiting for you guys to give me sh!t about the swap  you know, bring up all those posts about how I wouldn't do it, stay d-series...
update:
hooked up all the heater and coolant hoses (except radiator, it's not in yet.)
changed oil in AC compressor
Hooked up all the vacuum stuff (I hope )
fuel filter and lines
cut down Civic airbox, grafted to Integra intake
Hey Trev. Some advice if you still have that DA. With this B18 swap in place you should considering doing the brake swap in the future. At least the front. You can swap your wagon knuckles with the DA knuckles complete. DA as you know have bigger rotors and calipers. I recommend swapping the master cylinder/brake booster to the integra's MC/Booster too. Your wagon will obviously have more weight at front and you prob want more stopping power. I know I did. Just my 2 cent.

Thanks. Yeah, that's the intention-part of why I bought the car instead of just a swap. I kinda want the rear disc too... One swap at a time, though! Also, B18c5 told me that with the DA knuckles I'd have to have a camber kit too?
... the DA seats have auto-belt hardware, too!
I've really got a hard-on to drive this beast now. Won't be long!
Oh nice! You're gonna have to let me drive it. LOL
Btw, Merry Christmas to you and Anne!
drive it anytime! You know I'm ready to swap yours now, right? 8) wagondriver says I just can't let the ol' lady drive it, 'cause then i'll be swapping another one!
good job! very clean work, i admire a job well done. now its fun time what your new motor lacks in miles per gallon it makes up in pure down shifting bliss! very fun driving experience.
Haven't driven it yet, still no axles/shifter/exhaust/throttle cable... and the teg radiator is split, have to swap it back out. Will do the ac while that's back out of the way. Driving's a few days away. I'm all giddy
Had a family reunion today, couldn't get started on the car 'til late afternoon. Took the shifter off the teg, shortened the linkages, swapped over all my new bushings and boots from the OE shifter.
3 3/8 " shorter with the Hasport mounts.
Even used the teg stick and knob...a bit shorter and swept back more. I think I'll like it ok, if not I'll switch back
Do you see what I see? Wagon exhaust on bottom, Integra on top:
I'm sure this has been done before, right? I was checking out the exhaust from the integra to see if I could piece something together- looks like it'll almost fit!
The teg was welded straight, didn't have a flange from the A pipe to the cat. Cut the one from the wagon, did some mockup- voila!
decided to leave that flex coupler in, needed the length anyway. The tough part is doing all this with just one pair of hands  wish there was a fellow enthusiast in the neighborhood!
Note the piles of lumber
So now I've got the pipe run back to the rear axle. I THINK all I have to do is "flip" the muffler (cut the welds and reverse the offset inlet pipe). That will allow me the length I need to hit the axle-back flange and the ability to tweak the fit thru the lca 'window'. Not a custom hotrod system, but included in the $550 I paid for the swap car 8)
Didn't you have Rywire make it? They should be able to trouble shoot with ya on the phone or something. I've heard good things about them as far as customer relations.
I had the IACV and the intake temp sensor transposed
all better now, I just have to retape and reloom the harness, then reinstall.
I feel much better now, I was getting frustrated. Once I get the wiring squared away, there's just the remainder of the exhaust to rig up.Test drive maybe Sunday?

really not much of interest to show. Here's some shots I took for vacuum reference
Used the stock airbox. Do you think it will flow enough?
Had bought the $69 Ebay mounts, then these came up on a local forum for $150
Hopefully by this weekend I'll have some action shots!

Happy Kwanzaa to your tribe, too!
what a mess. I have to figure out how to fit all this back under the floor plate
added this 6-wire plug for the added wires from the ecu
notice some differences in this shot: radiator &hoses, distributor... yep, it runs! Merry Christmas to me!

shifts good, now on to the exhaust...

of course, anybody who knows what's up won't be fooled, but it'll keep the emissions inspector from getting too nosy
no :x I can't get the CEL to stay off. I'm afraid it's a harness problem. dammit.

Also bought a really nice set of DA seats today for $50...Rev, you figured out how to put 'em in yet?
