    Its clean brother!
  • Good Morning all. Unfortunitely I didnt get alot of Wagon time this weekend but I did get a new stereo and speakers. What a difference that made the Stock speakers where really bad the surrounds where completely seperated from the Cones and the tweeter cones where warped to hell. Charb gave me a map light excited to get that in but we have to Finish Nancy's transformation so may be awile.
  • I fell like I am neglecting Norma Jean, but it is for a good cause. Nancy (chard1618) is getting a huge makeover and needs the extra love. Then I will get back to Norma.

NO FUGGIN WAY!! lol this is one of my old wagons. Did you buy it from a guy named Paul?
BTW, I'm the guy with the boosted Red RT that waved at you a few weeks ago =)

DMV told him the guy had owned it for a few years...

I actually thought about this initially. But there is no holes from where the cargo cover was on yours.

DMV guy is full of shit...
Somebody deleted my damn pictures, but yes this is my car.. same license plate and wheels.

  • Yes it is.. Wierd enought there was even three years of registration in the guys Name that I bought it from in the Glove box. Hope you took care of it lol.
  • Here are some pics from over the weekend. Thanks for a great weekend Norma, Tyra (wife) and Cierra (Daughter). :D

  • Oh yes I did take care of it =) I only owned her for a winter.. But, a close friend owned it before me and took very good care of it! His family owned a detail shop so the car was always immaculate. The oil pump went out in it and it spun a bearing. So I bought it from him and I slapped some new ones in there and a new pump and she was ready to go and running phenomenally!! Good to see she went to someone who is giving her some love, and I hope to meet you sometime.
  • Im sure we will meet soon. We should have a Wagon day soon up at the Stop and go.

Looks like we have a meet to set up...
  • Norma Jean has been neglected for a few weeks but we got a couple of little things done last night. I don't want her to think the other projects are more important. :D

Here is the new map light went in sweet Charb is helping me with the backing plate so the one I've got holding it in right now is temperary. There was no need to take the headliner down and was very easy to tap into the costant power wire from the existing dome light.

While I was at it last night I removed the ambers out of the turn signals in the bumper. Now I would like to get clear corners so the whole front is clear. I think I will try to wire the turn signals as driving lights too, to see how it would look. I will take a few pics and get your feedback.

  • I bought some rims off Billboard and redid them white. unfortunitly they didnt turn out perfect but they will do for the summer. I will redo them again this winter lol. Now I am having a hard time figuring out the size of tire to use. They put a 205/60R15 on yesturday at Les Schwab but they are rubbing some only on the mud flaps though. I am thinking I will take them in and Have 50 series tires put on instead. Plus that will make it so Charb will have to help me put some adjustable on so I can drop her down some in the summer.

Pick of how they where when I got them

  • Here are a few pics I took tonight. The new tires are Toyo 205/50R15. Now i really need some coil overs so i can drop her while the snow is not around. Let me know if you have ideas for that...

    Looks good.

Is that a SEM product you used, if not, what did you use?
  • Yes it was SEM Bumper Coating. Honestly I have used two or three other brands and it is worth the extra money that SEM costs. Prep with a Red Scotch brite and make sure to Pre All it. SEM has a primer too but I have found the Bumper coating to work great on its own.

shiney!! is it still that shiney???
  • knottyyknottyy Wagonist
Was gonna say the same thing that Bill said. Did it dry up and become a bit more satin/flat like? I really like the old school steering wheel, nice find!
