So i did a google search on d15b2 buing oil and a fiew people had the same problem. Even after rebuilding the motor. It still burns oil.
282,723miles +
My burns about 1 3/4 quarts every 250miles, give or take.
Once i pass 3800rpms and up that when i can smell it and about 4600rpms to redline it smokes. My friends CRX runs the same motor and his doent smoke at high rpms.
So my question is the d15b2 realy good motor to work with or be easyer to swap it with others?
Is there any solution for this oil burning problem?

I'd do an MPFI rewire and chuck in a ZC... but thats just me.
Mine does the same thing, it's very annoying, I wish it would blow up already.
any d series is a good motor as far as im concerned it just depends on what you wanna do but do yourself a favor try to find one with under 100 k no need to rebuild that
What they forget to do is to replace the valve stem seals.
I'd say you got your $$$ worth.Either your rings or seals are gone. The D15 is a good motor.Read through the engine section for other good swaps.
 If your lucky. You can replace the valve stem seals w/o pulling the head.Oil prob gone.If it's the rings.........rebuild or swap.
Will do.
Im was lookin into a d16z6 or a b16b after i blow up the stock motor, or when it dies.
