Figured i would post up some pictures of my freeway monster.. I bought it bone stock back in december 08 for $2,500 with 135,000 origional miles and im the second owner.. This is what she looks like $13,000 and 3 years later

It went from the bone stock d15b7 to a b18c1 with minor boltons in 2 weeks lol

    Lol this is a S model too. I love it! Two of the hondas i always wanted i now own.. Del sol and a 4wd wagon.. Next will have to be a nice timeattack setup S2K :)

    i miss this car soooo much.. i ripped it apart and left it at my house in cali.. i threw a rod coming back from a car meet so im rebuilding it for more power and putting alot of custom made parts in it made by darton, GE, and bisimoto.. im looking in the ballpark around 1200hp

    im 6'5 and i fit fine in one, theyre actually quite roomy for how small they are.. i just recommend getting a aftermarket steeringwheel, spend the extra money and get a good quality wheel though.. i got a CTR nonSRS one for my sol and i LOVE it, but i do want to swap it out for a nardi deep corn

    thanks guys.. the sol is ripped apart due to a ARP connecting rod bolt stretching and breaking making me throw the #3 cylinder rod out the block.. i cant wait to start the build for 1200, should be interesting and fun :)

    eh, it is what it is. My threads never get much love here either, lol.

    im not a huge sol fan, but when they are slammed like yours they catch my eye. 1200!?! bonkers! look forward to the progress.

    yea i know what you mean, im just not used to no attention lol.. my sol got ALOT of chatter on other forums.. just not usual i guess lol..

    ive always loved sols, no idea why but i have.. it used to be alot lower but when i got stationed in CA i had to raise it up alot because of the shit roads out there..

    yeah i want to make the car unbeatable on the street.. alot of people think im stupid for wanting soo much power but i think itll be awesome because itll be something nobody has on the street..

    oh and i wont be keeping the regular FWD driveterrain.. i have a buddy thats making me a custom AWD trans that will hold up to 1800awhp.. so itll sit on 4 slicks when i go to race but radials for when im just cruising around..

    Sounds like its gonna be pretty sick! I've never really liked del sol's, but thats just me. Yours does look clean though

    thank you sir.. its come a loooong way.. i bought it bone stock in 09 for $2500 with only 135k on it..

    since ive owned it its been through 2 turbo setups, 3 different all motor setups, i was hit in vegas in the driverside door by some idiot right before my wedding, and it was stolen a week after i took it home from the shop after the last turbo build and they wrecked it into a sand burm which is why there is a bumper missing from my car and put it out of commision for a little while because they broke my turbo but it was warrantied under precision so i got a brand new one :)

    Personally disappointed to open a thread with the word 'racecar' in the title, only to find a del slow...

    But, my friends build actual race cars. They don't just call them that ;)

    this is one 'del slow' that has never seen a set of tail lights :mrgreen:

    im just ready to get back from afghanistan and start on the new build and listen to my wife bitch about me wasting even more money on this car lol.. and thank you for the compliment :)
