Thanks! and I had the red car painted about a year ago, and I just keep it waxed with Meguires Tech Wax 2.0. I really like their wax!
and deep down I kinda wish our 2wd was an auto;).
I wish mine was a stick. I had to negotiate with my parents on letting me get a manual, but I had to choose between an auto wagon or no car at all. Guess what I chose....
Next, I found a few more issues as I tore into things. A couple of motor mounts, and the intermediate Shaft!
Honda has discontinued the inner and outer seals and the bearing for the intermediate shaft. Also most major auto parts stores do not even show a listing for these parts either.
So, I was able to press the old bearing out, and cross referenced the bearing number with our SKF rep at work, he was able to get me a new bearing and an outer seal. The inner seal is a 68.5mm OD, and it isn't available any longer. (That we could research).
I took the wagon and got it aligned , Drives perfect!! just a few issues. It threw and o2 sensor code once today.
and I haven't installed the tokico blues in the rear yet..
I bought some gray pods from EFparts in Salem, OR.
Here's a picture of the pods, the gray set is for my RT, and the brown set is for my wife's brown 2wd. And the BNIB set is for my collection. :encouragement:
so I finally got them installed yesterday morning!
It was cold:
Here's the car gutted:
here's the pods installed:
They are in okay shape kinda scratched up, no cracks though. I ordered some OEM speakers from Honda, But I need some grills!
Small update: I bought a set of Honda HFP 16" wheels these were offered for the 07'-08' Fit. they are 16" x 6 1/2".
Here's a picture when i got them !
I bought some new tires last night. I got some 205/45-16 from Les scwhabs.
I took a couple quick pictures last night on the way home. I love these wheels so far!!
Also I got my new speakers from Honda today. they are for a 96'-01' CRV. they will work good with my 01' Integra CD player. Plus I already have these in my front doors.
