Here are a couple pictures of the wheels and tires close up,
They aren't on yet, for two reasons, I haven't had time, and I love that when I park in the garage, and get out of the car, I came smell the smell of new tires!
I was thinking about stock springs, I have the original set off the wagOn haha
They are the same height to the tenth of an inch, Nick looked it up, and compared the tire sizes, when I bought them...
The 15's are like 1.5 inches wider haha They are pretty bright white.. I already want to paint those little black circles in...
A little history, this was my last civic, 1989 civic dx stock, other than H&R springs, 89 prelude wheels, and short shifter. It was a tan interior, with full center console, and arm rest, and speaker pods. Should have never sold it.. Haha I bought it from the original owner. It had 155,000 miles
Also today at the vancouver pick and pull, i grabbed the stock tape deck out of that wagovan, I will be putting the radio back to stock, i only listen to the radio anyways, and not very often. mainly i just love the stock look!
Update: I have been noticing that some times putting it in gear has been getting a little harder/stiffer.. so tonight I took my shifter apart, greased it all up, and BAM!! A world of difference. it shifts way smoother. it just was all dry with no grease...
So today on my way to buy a new drivers seat from Zaza, some fucking old lady rear ended me!!! I was pissed. it just needs a new rear bumper cover and support. maybe a new hatch. no frame damage or anything. her insurance will take care of everything. Maybe they will just give me the $$$, because while at Zaza's house he gave me a red rear bumper and support, so its not to bad of a day because I already have the parts to fix it. but still!
Despite the day I have had, I was still able to get some work done haha
I took the lower section foam and fabric off of a wagon passenger seat, and recovered my driver's seat..
There is a couple slight differences but nothing i couldn't trim the foam to fit on one side.
Its really nice to have a good firm seat with no rips!!!!!
yes they do! so The insurance is paying for a new bumper and dent repair on the hatch. so it will be getting fixed, The shop is 5 Star Auto here is Vancouver, they do a very good job! while the wagon is in his shop, he is going to repair all my dents, there is lots of little dings and stuff, install the fender that I picked up the other day. make the car flawless basically, and seal, prime, and paint the whole wagon. OEM Color!! for some extra $$ haha.
So at the end of this i will have a new painted wagon, I'm super excited! here are a few pictures from the rear-ending
yes sir!! super excited, The cool dude at the body shop is giving me a good deal if i stip all the trim and such off, so its ready for paint, just need to toss my new fender on!!
I will be dropping the wagon off on monday. it will prolly take him a week and a half to do his magic
