Whats your goal for completing it, like how long do you think?
I am taking it on a trip this June or july. So, have to have it done by then.
x2!! haha
In for updates!! I was thinking about doing the same for my CRX to tow!
First I've heard of it!
I'm sweating the same deadline with Fool'sGold...
But, I am also still planing to do a Wago-Camper as well.. Since I already have the shell for it.. I just scrapped my spare rusty CRX Shell.. Wasn't sure how I was going to justify 3 Trailers(CRX, Wagon, Hatch) to the wife, let alone 2 trailers(Wagon & Hatch)..
She is actually kinda excited about the hatch trailer..
Going on Jack Stands in the morning.. Time to tear this beast down.
Already have a bunch of angle iron for the framing.. and square tube to make the forward tube.. just need to go get a latch from Harbor Freight.
Just picked up my Matching wheels set for the car & trailer... EXCITED!!!
I have to find pics of my wagon trailer
I have seen pics of this before.. That is yours? That thing is Great!
I really want to go to IA..
Honda Fit 15" wheels
Just got my engine hoist back, should help with dis-mantle..
Car on Stands
Wife has next week off.. Project catch up time for me!!! Yay!
Funny Thing! This a 2 Dr Hatch.. It did spend some time in Germany.. But, has a US vin #.... But, it has Power steering, which NO US 2 Dr hatchback came with.. So, someone must have added it??? Humm.. European models did however come with PS.
So, everybody look! I am actually working on it..
something you probably haven't dealt with before ...A/T !!!
Back in the ancient days when us at the dealerships were installing air conditioning (because none of the civics at that time were 'factory' equipped), I would always try to pick the work for ones without powersteering just ecause it was one less thing to work around while installing the A/C. For the record, I also tried to avoid having to install the radio antennas into models that had a sunroof (drain tube made running the wire a little more of an issue).
Send me the VIN and I will check to see if it was a true USDM vin or possible Canadian
