Alright! I got kind of a big update here lol

Thank goodness for an alignment pit haha
    220.jpg

So one day i took a trip to Disneyland and on the way back I took my friend back home with me along with my girlfriend. Going there was no problem with my girlfriend so I thought what the heck itll be fine having someone in the backseat. At the beginning it was a walk in the park but then after hitting a few reflectors on the ground my muffler gets shook up.. all the sudden i hear something dragging on the floor!

    221.jpg

For an hour it was dragging throwing up sparks the rest of the ride home. Realy embarrassing seeing people having their phones out recording as they passed by me haha.

    Rust -____- Finally gave in
    222.jpg

Took it to the muffler shop and had them reroute the piping from the cat. Had them tuck it into the AWD drive shaft and stuck it through the ..rear brace? haha dont kno what its called but ya. Also slapped on a tip. No muffler

    223.jpg
    224.jpg

    extra pic :D 8)
    225.jpg

Got some fog lights installed! still needa wire them up though
    226.jpg

Finally got around to painting the bumper, moldings, and some other black parts on the car
    227.jpg
    228.jpg

Also for some future purposes my friend and I found some fender flares :D heres a little tape up test fit. Need wider wheels 8)
    229.jpg
    230.jpg

I then started on my interior process with converting everything black. The headliner is SUCH a pain wrapping it by yourself. I got so frustrated lol. I might have someone professional re do it for me later.

    DA map lights
    234.jpg

Then yesterday my friend and I tried doing an axle replacement but couldnt get the 32mm bolt loose. ANYIDEAS?! WE tried a long breaker bar but didnt move a bit. -_____- After that headache we tried someone to go a tad bit lower
    235.jpg

That is all for now. Im going to eibach meet this sunday so if anyone else is going let me know!! :D

Made a short video with some new wheels!

Just seen your new video with those enkei wheels. What’s your front/rear height measurements if measuring from the ground to the bottom of your driver/rear door handle? Those enkei's are 15's right? I'm at 25 3/4 inch in the front and 26 1/4 in the rear. My header got flattened half way already and I’m running 15 inch rims with 165/50 tires on shakotan's and with this setting i can drive anywhere except extreme slants and parking structures being this low and i got a volvo 740GL lip. I still scrape very little if I’m on the freeway riding in the deep grooves that semi's create. Your FWD looks lower then my RT4wd and I’m just curious how bad you throw sparks/scrape asphalt.

Ill check the measurement later today :] Is it measured to the top of the handle or bottom? I used to have the same wheels with 175/50 tires and the volvo lip. I recently just got a VW lip that doesnt sit as low because the volvo one was hella low and came off every now and then. I actually dont scrape at all like on the freeway or anything just going up driveways and what not. I had my exhaust rerouted into the 4wd driveshaft so it doesnt sit that low to the ground anymore. Before i did that i woulld scrape on little humps in the ground. It helped a lot lol. Also my header is pretty flat now too and the flange to connect the header to the cat got bent so now theres an exhaust leak :[ it sounds like crap right now haha.

Measurement I was curious about is to the bottom of each handle. I have to find another path to route my exhaust that should be my fix so i can go lower or just upgrade to 16's...i'll prob do both to fix my issue. Still looking forward to see your measurements and what site you got your 175/50r15 tires if you don't mind me asking? A couple sites i was told to check out no longer has them listed.

From the ground to the bottom of the handle the front is 25 1/4 rear is 26 1/4. I raised my rear bc my tire rubs the top of the wheel well when theres someone in the back or on little bumps when my coils are maxed out.

I got the tires on Onlinetires.com. I picked it up at their warehouse. I believe they offer free shipping too from the last time ive been on the site.

Alrighty so I went and tackled the sharpie paint marker on my mud flaps. Thanks to knotty!
    342.jpg

I was half way painting the mud flap and realized i was only supposed to paint the outlining. I stepped back and looked at it and said what the heck ill just keep it like that. If anything Ill just hit it with paint stripper/thinner and re do it so ya. Ill catch some better pictures later when i put on a final coat.

I just checked onlinetires.com and nexen 175/50r15 cp621 model isn't showin up on their site i'll prob search around for another site to pick-up that specific tire size or call them direct to see what's the deal. If you running 25 1/4in up front and your just a 1/2in lower then me and we got the same front lip i'll prob try that setting and see how my wagon reacts to the roads in my area i was thinking of going a tad bit lower anyway. Thanks for the info bro! i appreciate the help.

ya you gotta call in. They usually have it. its just not on their website. Slam it all the way! haha. I recently got a vw lip since the volvo sat too low.

That board is awesome ha ha. I had to send a pic of that to a couple of my friends. New wheels look good although I kinda liked your old ones;) You and beastmode were the two doods that really put me onto the Shakotans and for that I'll forever be thankful. I love how you are always pushing the limit of how low you can go in your wagon. It always looks fantastic. I really want to reroute my exhaust as well! Are you rocking a standard Jetta/GTI lip now? Cause the Euro one is super fat, even fatter than the Volvo. I used to rip that thing off all the time on my VR6. Luckily it was a snap in.
