.::Tofu Wagon::.

Hello wagoneers!

So last week (3/7/12) I picked up my first honda and of course its a 91 wagon! Took a 6 hour round trip to pick it up. Came with function/form coilovers. It rides better than all of my previous cars with coilovers so thats a plus. Previous owner threw in extra mud gaurds, speaker pods, axle, and clutch.

Heres the first picture i took of it filling up before the trip back home

The next day i brought it to work and hit it with a clay bar and a good waxing

Heres before clay&wax i dont know if you can actually tell but the paint was dull.

My friend with the domowagon had a bike rack laying around so i picked that up from him

Picked up front and rear camber kit. Excuse my girlfriends hand on the right haha

Sorry to be immature and point out a simple spelling error, but god this made me laugh(also a sign of immaturity).

Idk if you have looked at the coilovers, but there should be 3 adjuster rings. 2 that are only there to keep them from adjusting themselves.
Take those out and adjust the bottom mount all the way up and then lower the spring down.

Should be able to drag rear mudflap with approximate to OEM wheel dimensions. :)

I was actually thinking about doing that! Haha. I've just been lazy to take it apart. I'll probably give it a try tonight :) do u have the same set up?

In my opinion its still not low enough for me haha. coming from an xb and miata that were about an inch off the floor its not the same. These things are hard to get down to earth. or maybe its just the coils i have :[

This was how low my xb was. i want it this low! haha
    611.jpg

Anyways ill post pics tomorrow in daylight!

I have megan racing EZ street coilovers, the general principle on newer styled coilovers is all the same though.
Everyone figured out that adjusting the lower mount UP the shock was an amazing idea.
Its mostly the back I've always had trouble with getting it low. The front with my full coils is an inch or so from maxed and with it maxed i'd have my volvo lip on the ground.

Stoked to see the new ride height! And those wheels on there too. Had a soft spot for those wheels since i saw the white wagon on stancenation with them. - offset and such. CRAZYYYY fit that guy pulled off.
  • Nice!!! Looks damn good!! Cant wait to see it with the wheels!! I need to find me a bikerack i want one bad!
  • Damn she cleaned up real well, pics with the wheels on those look dope.

Soo I'm still waiting on the tires for the wheels. Should have them mounted hopefully Monday or Tuesday. Here's a quick snap while I was at work with the new ride height.

    Some updates.

Installed a new clutch cable since the one that was in the car wasn't even made for the car :?
Also got an EFI service with BG 44k. Drives a heck of a lot smoother now esp with the new clutch cable.

Picked up a volvo lip then put the lip i had on under it haha
    60.jpg

after a drive through crappy roads where i live this happened. It was only on with zip ties so maybe ill figure something out later to keep it on. :D
    61.jpg

    Bought some wheel stuff also.

NRG lug nuts, 25mm and 15mm spacers, and extended studs.
    62.jpg

heat gun&hammered flat fenders before and after i installed the 25mm spacer and lugs
    63.jpg
    64.jpg

i still need to install the front 15mm spacers and studs.
