I think it looks ok with the bullbar there, but wouldn't think it would like right without the bar in front of it...like on someone else's car. Just my opinion.
here is a quick engine shot i did for fun cause im kinda bored....
just point out a couple new things,
-EX 15/16 MC
-3rd gen civic Honda Motor Co. valve cover logo on firewall
-this is lame, but i think its pretty cool, the warning label around the radiator overflow tank , ROFL
-homemade intake
was cleaning up the MPFI parts today, degreaser, pressure wash all that good stuff... also gathering more parts for it today, like Si throttle cable, a couple random bits and pieces, good stuff =D
SOUTHEST WAGON MEET FTMFW!!!! im down for whenever people, i have a 7 week winter break from school 8) thats how i managed to get stuff done noww, my car was on standby for a while with school going on,
im taking 15 credit hours a quarter, its the most i am "allowed" without special permission, also working like 25 hours a week, not too bad.
well the MPFI starts tomorrow, everyone wish me luck!!! (im kinda nervous)
alright, picked up the following today from the yard...
-PM6 ECU
-PM6 Distributor
-PM6 Throttle Cable
-fuel lines (they were much nicer then mine are)
-couple random wire clips
-Oil cap from a 6th gen civic
-and some other random little crap
i was about to pick up a lip from a 4th gen accord to modify for a rear lip but my friend got first dibs :x oh well, there is always next time 8)
I don't know if this was mentioned already, but you don't have to swap throttle cables.
Also, I don't think that a mpfi swap does all that much for performance. My wagon is a mpfi swapped b15b2. After the swap, it felt a *little* more powerful as it climbed in revs. Not to be Captain Bringdown, but your wagon will still be slow as shit. You should expect significant mileage increases, though. Also, you will be pretty much plug and play for motor swaps.
update on the MPFI: good lawd.. all the parts are in, about 1/3 wiring done, all thats left is stuff at the ECU and a bit more crap about the coolant hoses, then it should be ready to roll 8) assuming everything works, that is =S
:x havent had time to go to the damn yard yet, cars been sitting a week =( it sucks, oh well, tomorrow is my day off YAY so im off, hopefully getting this thing DONE tomorrow. idk, whenever i do something the worst case scenario always ALWAYS happens.
i am in the quarter system its awesome, been out 2 weeks now, got all A's
