My buddy stump welded my mounts to the rack for me tonight, as well as two light tabs.

Got the front pads and rotors changed, rear shoes and drums, and put stock shackles back on.
  • RevmaynardRevmaynard Council Member
The back sits level now with the lift shackles changed out for stock!

New factory 15x8 Gambler wheels. One had a slight bend in the lip but it'll be ok for a spare/the price I paid for 5! The 3 hour trip to Carrolton and back was hellacious though.

Got started on the bumper today. Used a TJ winch plate as a starting base, and a scratch and dent stinger I got at work. This was about 5 hours of work with a food/hardware run!

The wheels look a little cambered from the panorama shot I took to get the whole front end. Hopefully we can finish up with a full day tomorrow!

Haha yea man I do too! Your ZJ looks good, my friend has a 5.2 Limited in the same color. When I get the Rough Country long arm kit it'll include a heavy duty crossmember.

hot damn... she looks beautiful!!!! This jeep has already come along way! great work!

Thanks man! I got the rims swapped over to my Gamblers, I've got to get some wheel spacers though they currently rub the very outer most lug on the tire on the outside of the leaf spring.

I also hooked my winch up and swapped the cable for the synthetic rope. That saves about 30lbs on the front end. While at PullAPart today I also managed to pick up a drivers mirror, an ash tray, a fan shroud (rare to find in good shape), and a FACTORY front skid plate....I had one of the most successful trips to a junkyard I've ever had....lol

Which yard did you hit? PAP East had 2 or 3 like yours, one of which looked pretty much untouched last time I was there. Good pickings anyhow!
  • RevmaynardRevmaynard Council Member
I was at East. A lot of parts change over between the two generations 84-96 / 97-01. My skid plate is from a 98. It had a gas tank skid as well, but sadly the tank shape is different. There were about 16 total I believe at East. lol I wish it were that easy finding wagons!
  • RevmaynardRevmaynard Council Member
I also forgot to mention I grabbed some Neon injectors too!
  • RevmaynardRevmaynard Council Member
Threw on some 1.25'' spacers for the Gamblers!

Rev im not exactly sure i asked for the tube to be made the same diameter as the Xterra roof tube on top .... but hopefully one of the Honda Farm Posse will chime in since Scrappy is there the could measure it
