Has anyone used one of them clear distributor caps?

Saw an accel one and msd one when shopping around for tuneup parts. Has anyone used one before? I was having a hard time finding info on it. so I assume they are not good. But it would be cool to see your spark at night.

    yes they are pretty cool. i like that you can see the spark. but they get direty fast and dont last as long as oem honda.


    so i would stick with oem honda.

    I wanted to get one for my accord and everyone was calling me rice haha.. just like the old school style.. not sure if they have for my application though (90dx).. available in clear red and blue too from Mr gasket, summit and jegs I think

    couldnt you just use the clear cover on an oem dizzy and use all the oem parts in the cover over to clear cover?

    so basically only the clear part is aftermarket and the rest of the internal of the cover is oem, that way you get longevity?

    Yup, but a lot of aftermarket caps crack or can crossfire early
