You're wagon is looking so damn good man....you should be happy. It came out so well with those new shoes/tires.
  • ledler0321ledler0321 Wagonist
Thanks Knottyy. Can't wait to see what your's looks like once you decide what tires to go with.
  • needs a lip
  • ledler0321ledler0321 Wagonist
Have a lip sitting in the garage for it. Think its off an older accord. It's on my to do list.

I was on the east side of the show hangin out with a couple buddies. Yeah those civics were insane!!!! The thing that caught my attention was the burnouts that sounded like they were accompanied by .50 cal machine guns. Never seen a civic hookup that good before.

Wondering if I should put spacers on the rear. Nothing extreme maybe a quarter to a half inch. Input?
  • knottyyknottyy Wagonist
I would, just to bring it up flush with the front tire. Nothing more than a quarter/half inch though like you said.

I just got wider and more offset :)
  • ledler0321ledler0321 Wagonist

How are you liking the ESM wheels? I am just curious because I might look into their Borbet Type A replicas (esm 009 i think)..

Love them! Only problem with mine is how damn hard they are to clean. But they are a really quality wheel. And the customer service at that place is unreal. They got everything done right away had my wheels packed, shipped, and to me in 3 days.
  • So today i was backing up in the middle of my street and heard a horrible rubbing noise. Get out to look, my tire caught my fender and folded it under.

I couldn't get it to budge off of it so i had to use the handle from a hammer to roll it back out. But it looks like absolute shit.

dam dude that sucks, the shitty side of the fitment game lol
  • driftin90driftin90 Senior Wagonist
Sorry to hear about the fender. I did the same thing about a month ago. It just happens. I've had my wagon over 2 years without any issues and BAM I was smelling rubber. Same fender too.
  • PavementwagoPavementwago Senior Wagonist
Sucks but it's what we deal with.
  • knottyyknottyy Wagonist
Damn man!!!! I said that out loud just now. That sucks, sorry to hear about this. Now I am gonna be paranoid about this happening! I have heard a really loud metallic popping sound coming from the rear when pulling out of my driveway a couple times and I need to figure out what it is. How are you gonna go about fixing it? I dented my fender a small bit when rolling...think it was when I was trying to get the lining off. It really bothers me now and I want to try and fix it somehow, although it'll probably have to wait till I get new paint.

I made it driveable at least by shoving the handle of a hammer between the tire and fender and rolling it back out. I'm waiting for somebody to tell me they have a fender i can buy! Hopefully someone replies soon so i can get it painted and on to my car. It's bugging the hell out of me.
  • PavementwagoPavementwago Senior Wagonist
Knotty that sound is most likely your coils falling out of place.. is your driveway got a dip and you go out crooked? It just pops out and back in once car stops flexing
  • knottyyknottyy Wagonist
Yeah my driveway has a slight dip where the sidewalk flattens down to meet the road, and I do hit it at an angle. Sometimes when leaving I can feel the car go onto only 3 wheels and kinda teeter a quick bit. Is that a bad thing that will damage sometime over time? Yeah ledler it looks a lot better after the fix but still feel your pain. Hoping you find a fender sooner than later. There's a brown one at Pick a Part here in Lynnwood.

    Your fender is repairable.

I'm gonna see if the body guy at my dad's work can fix it. I've never really done body work before.
  • TheGmanTheGman Wagonist
Yeah dude thats nothing, it could be fixed easily by a bodyman.

Mines done that twice, now my fender is officially fucked.
  • I think the thing it needs most is paint. That's really the only thing that got fucked
