Just finally got some garage space for the wagon so I can start working on it. Its a bit beat up . Oh and im starting to collect some go fast parts for it.
Garret T3/T4 A/R .50 that I picked up for $20 bucks hehehe
well the pics are dim so there isny much to compliment ha buit thats a big turbo is that goin on a d series ???
Yeah they are kinda dim. Sorry. Ill try and get some better pics up soon.
Yeah that turbo is going on the d series. Its a .48 .50 Garret so me and my tuner are thinking it should spool sometime in the 4k rpm range. Got a spare motor with Si cam, Metal HG, d/b series intake(when i get pictures ill post it youll understand). Picking a set of DSM 450cc Injectors today and in the next month should have my set of Vitara Pistons and LS rods. Then its time for Turbo manifold mock up time and then Turbo Edit tune. There are a couple things that I missed but as my project progresses you shall see.
So far with the Wagon, spare motor and tranny, injectors and turbo I have only spent $450. hehehe
vitaras FTW. at the track this weekend a guy had a single cam with vitaras and a big ass gt30 it took a while to spool but when it did it took off. the d16 is so underated cant wait to see yours up and running.
Picked up a set of Acura Integra Rims with some crappy tires for $50 and he had a set of Integra NRG lowering springs with some shocks that I also picked up for $50.
Gotta wait for the fronts cause they are still on a car but should have them tomorrow and then hopefully I can install my suspension.
I hit Jackpot!!!!! D15 w/dx tranny, si cam, oem NIB exedy clutch, crx shifter(should be a little shorter), axles, mounts and a freshly wrinkle coated valve cover for the grand total of..... $100... and it runs!!!! My wagon should be mobile and lowered... SOOON!!!!
Got some ebay adjustable coilovers and was able to do the front but the rears are on hold for a little while.
Stock ride height
All the way as low as it can go :hehe:
Oh and I added some SiR striping cause I think it looks way better with it on than with it off.
New list of go fast parts that should be ordered soon.
Turbo rebuild
OBX LSD
Vitaras
TT rods
Work Equip 03's 15x8 0 offset
Exedy Clutch and Flywheel
AM boost and oil gauges
if i stay d15 chipped PM6
Flanges for custom intake and exhaust manifolds
F&F Coilovers
and a few others
I finished welding school a while ago and we are going to shave the rear door handles, moldings, and fix the rust and make a complete custom wide arch kit with custom side skirts and modded front and rear bumpers. It should look pretty dang sweet. Also should be on the rollers trying to put down some serious number sometime this winter.
what part no are you using of exedy clutch? I need new clutch, but here in Czech Republic costs new OEM clutch about 400USD... :? So I consider buying a new one from US...
