another nz shuttle
chees-
Band Wagon
been scanning through here for a little while so thought i may aswell post up my one,
its going through the stages,
lowered it straight away, ef shocks with (da integra?) king springs,
then it was clipped by my gf's neighbour, boat trailer>shuttles
and because everything is closed over the new year i grabbed this grey bumper from pickapart
and cleaned it up, everythings kinked and out of alignment but i'll leave that for the panelbeaters to sort
and i got this lip off an civic which i'm pretty happy with, although i can't get into my driveway anymore oops
just waiting till the 8th when my panelbeater opens up to go and get everything sorted, then its on to wheels which i can't decide on........

Shuttles looking good though, nice to see another in NZ. There is another 2 in wellington here but dont know who they are
i'm planning on keeping it as simple as possible, wheels, then on to the engine
Yep, fit's pretty well too. I want to try an EF9 wing at some point too,
What's your engine plans? Yours looks carb as well right?
yep its dual carb, got no idea, gotta do alot more research
got in shit with police etc so did alot of things to get wof,
spent a bit of time trying to get the rear suspension sorted, but the shock shaft just spins so topnut is impossible to get off without rattle gun, so thats still on todo list.
am very keen on bike carbs just trying to find some decent ones. messed with the stock carbs a bit, but in general they are crap.
Or are those the shortened shocks? In which case I guess the socket for the allen key has been cut off
Most 90's Honda stuff is fairly interchangeable, just lengths differ. You could run EG, DC, EK, EF, DB etc etc suspension and it all basically bolts straight in. Just the amount of low differs
tried on trispokes, not sure if i like them
I like Tri-spokes for that sweet 90's coolness. It was a simplier time and tri's show that off well
It's probably just me, but I like the white/ gray paint scheme. After the, "panelbeaters" get done with it(love that expression!), you should think about painting everything below the trim line the same gray as the bumper cover. With some silver rims(Enkei 92's), it would be siiiick.
everyones telling me to go gray all around. not sure if i'm keen on that idea
if i can find some enkei 92s i'll be all over them
lowered the back a bit so its level
Looks great, realy like bottle caps on Efs!
rides fine just speeds out by a bit 50km/h = 60 on the speedo, also grips much better than i expected
i've got the right colour front bumper on now(white strip) and am considering whether i should paint the bottom half of that white along with the lip?
Was the Eg lowering springs on Ef hatch/sedan shocks captive?
i say leave the bottom strip black. looks much cleaner and "upper class" then full white, imho.
