Space Jam!

I picked up this wagon a couple weeks ago. Super straight body, just the dent in the hood and a little tiny one on the drivers side fender. I plan on keeping this thread updated as I go. Oh yeah, I'm calling this one Space Jam, cause my kids think it looks like a space shuttle.

When I first got it, the suspension was a little backwards so I reworked a couple things. The fronts were cut stocks, and the rears were coilovers but flipped upside down. It came with another set of coilover springs so I bought some perches locally and put those in the rear. I bought a whole new set of coilovers and picking up some tokico blues soon.

Got the front right, but had to raise the rear for now.....it will be dumped again.

I also repainted the bumpers and molding, cause the sun burnt black wasnt doing it for me. I ordered a bra to cover up the dent on the hood lol simple fix. I also sprayed the steelies, but on the look out for something interesting.

Then I got to enjoy a little bit today, filled it up and went to go watch some football.

thanks dudes, i will take some interior pics for sure. its actually all stock inside, just a torn drivers seat but other than that its super legit. i want to redo the headliner, and get a new CD player next. the radio is busted so no tunes is a downer.

i plan to dial the suspension in more, i forgot to mention my custom top hats. i made 3" in the rear and 1.5" in the front. i want to get a sway bar and some LCA's soon. i want to go junkyard diving and get a rear lip, the front is off a Legend.

this is my 11th Honda or so, i stopped building in 2007 so a 5 year break i want to do it up right.

I plan to just replace things as I go and build it up nice and solid. I want to get some LCA's, rear sway, new shocks and install the new ground controls. Then pay attention the interior and give it a deep clean, and a couple fresh ideas.

Here is a pic of the 3" rear top hats I made, I have not put on the front 1.5's yet. I need new front axels and plan on doing a big overhaul all at once on the front.

This is in the interior, rear is clean and stock but I there really isnt a lot to take a picture of before I give it a thorough exorcising of the demons.

Damn its almost been a year and finally got the bugs worked it. I had a 6-7mo battle with some electrical issues and now I can start enjoying the wagon. Now that I trust him again I started to do some work. Installed my 2.5" front top hats to go with my 3.5" rear, got all new shocks and ground control coilovers. Replaced the front tires and it rides pretty damn smooth!

Since its cooling off here in Az I am going to tackle the paint, which is clean but I want to 3 stage it. Clay bar, polish & wax, and pull off that pinstripe. I snapped some rolling pics the other day.
