roof skin replacment any one?

any one ever done a roof skin replacment on a wagon... i was forced to buy a wagon with one of them gay leaky sun roofs and it is all glued shut and still leaks... but the wagon had suck little rust so it was worth it....

i am up in the air if i sould make a CF sun roof plug and glue it shut better. or if i sould try to find a roof skin and have to changed out...

any one ever dont a roof skin swap on a wagon? is it hard?

I'm betting it is like a hatch.

scrape off all the seam sealer around the whole top, drip rails etc.

look for spot welds, drill out with spot weld bit, cut glue from support sections.

peel off old roof section. reweld etc.

Ben Ogle did it on a EF hatch with a sunroof, he did it all in his garage over a weekend.
