in General Civic Wagon Discussion
So I'm down at the local auto-wrecker doing some work for him. He bought a new modular home (a pre-build home that gets delivered to the location and sucked together), I was hired to do the drywall taping, which is what I do for a living. Terry, the owner of the yard, has the only civic wagon around. He knew I was a taper, and a hard worker, so he told the modular company that he wanted me to tape it. Sweet.

Yesterday I'm in the office chatting with him and out of the corner of my eye... I spot it. I know exactly what it is, even from 10ft away. It's sitting on a shelf surrounded by other tiny trickets. I pick it up. A camo-green civic wagon.

It's the standard 'hot wheel's size. top shell is metal, bottom shell is plastic. All it says on the bottom is 'Made in China'. But there is no question it's a civic wagon. I quickly grabbed it off the shelf and almost yelled 'Hey! It's my car!' The owner laughed, and said "take it!"

I've taken it apart, sanded it down to bare metal, and it's sitting in primer. I have to get some tremclad/rustolium white and some black for the moldings. Panda like mine. I'll get some pics when it's done. Had to share.

    hahaha, it's funny to me because about 10 min ago I finished doing the black moldings (massive pain in ass). it's back together, i am debating doing the lights, but i think i'll just make it worse. wife has camera! pics coming, i promise. it's my new prized possession, that said, i still need to take the pics in such a way as to not show the blemishes. hard to do with something the size of a .5oz hash cube.

    Like to see some pics to.I just got out of the hospital about a month ago.I had my family donate my Hot Wheels collection a little before Christmas.It must of been those meds I was on damn......hahahaha.

    i think i'm going to re-spray the top shell. i attempted to do black around all the windows and i made a mess of it.
    wheels need work.
    i got some schmutz on the front windshield which i need to get off.
    be nice.

    i used a permanent marker for black trim, may have been a mistake. it seems to have bled into the white creating a purple'ish huge around the black.

    i see what you mean with the marker. maybe do it over and mask it off? I know that's some tough taping though, haha!

    I recently re-did it and painted the wheels black as well. looks a lot better.

    now it's double sided taped to my dash board.
