d15b6 swap better mpg?

bare with me, new to all this engine terminology.

would a d15b6 (from a crx hf) swapped into a fwd wagon give it better gas mileage? also would you have to swap the whole engine or just the head from the b2 to the b6?

anybody ever done that? i've looked around and can't find much. i've found a bunch about getting more power, but what about better fuel mileage? and yes i know the mileage is already so good why bother... but still interested.

Yes, you could swap the B6 head on the B2. I'm guessing it's a dx though with DPFI right? If so they can get 42 MPG easy stock, so I would say you might as well put a HF transmission in there instead. less to fiddle with and should give you more of a MPG boost. Besides the DPFI setup isn't going to gain much MPG from a B6 head. From what I know the whole mpg this is related to good flow velocity and the DPFI does that pretty well. I might be explaining that poorly.
