Help Checking injectors

Well in school we learned how to check the injectors if they are leaking or clogged.
To check them you would need a fuel pressure gauge and a place on the fuel line called a schrader valve.
after this you would have to disconnect the fuel injector wire and connect a machine(forgot what's it called) where the top of the injector wire goes.
From there you would then, turn the ignition to run. Record the pressure on the gauge.
then with the machince connected you would run the injector so you can check how much fuel pressure drops.
then with this reading it dropped you would record it for each single injector, after ever injector you would turn the ignition off then on to raise the fuel pressure.
then from there you can determine if one is clogged or leaking.

For example,
injector 1 reads it dropped= 30psi
Injector 2 reads it dropped= 25psi
injector 3 reads it dropped= 30 psi
injector 4 reads it dropped= 30psi

this would then mean that the 2nd injector is clogged due to the low pressure.

Next example,
injector 1 reads it dropped= 30psi
Injector 2 reads it dropped= 40psi
injector 3 reads it dropped= 30 psi
injector 4 reads it dropped= 30psi

Next it would mean that the 2nd injector is leaking due to the excesive pressure.

Well, i need help figuring out where the fuel pressure would then Connect to, so i can be able to check the fuel pressure comming through.
I cant seem to find where i can connect it to.
I have a d16a6 and looking for a schrader valve connection or some type.

  • I have my pressure gauge on my filter I welded a 1/8 coupler to the top of the banjo bolt works great

That's where the test port is. On the filter oulet there's a smaller plug drilled in the center of the banjo bolt. I've drilled mine out and added a 1/8 NPT x 4AN adapter to supply fuel for my nitrous kit.

    There is no Schrader valve.
  • can you post pics? This would be very helpful?
