There is my freshly installed volvo lip. just a quick and dirty install. It still has all the junkyard grime on it haha...... and since im going with what im calling an americanized bosozoku style im thinking about gutting the lower grill out of my front bumper. what do you guys think?
  • josh1vtmjosh1vtm Council Member
yeh but broken hondas dont bother me, my aggressive driving style breaks them so its my own fault and everytime something breaks it means i get to wrench on a wagon.... its not a bad life.

Sweet exhaust! And I love that Volvo lip, I finally found one just a week ago or so. Definitely makes driving lowered more of a pain in the as. I actually need to head to Home Depot to try and find some sheets to throw down so that I can get into/out of my driveway better. It drags the left side and so over time it's starting to deform the shape of it. Looking forward to seeing your car with the new camber you were going for.

Thanks for posting up pics of my wagon, maybe they will get some buzz going on my build thread..... but then again noone seems to really comment about anything on this site so probably not.

Josh ur wagon almost looks low enough to put a 5th wheel on top ...... not sure if that DOHC ZC will tow them tractors .... :nightmare:
  • josh1vtmjosh1vtm Council Member
i dont think itll pull them yet but my zc came from the factory with 135 hp and im gonna put it on the dyno saturday to see what kind of damage 23 years has done to the power and then its time to start accumulating parts. Im gonna do all forged internals with high compression pistons and some ITB's instead of going for boost so i should be able to make some decent power, reliably.

That's awesome! I'm still pondering about keeping my single cam or not. Keep us updated on the ZC though! I am curious about the results!

And I love the shots of your Wagon!

Ive been debating on what to do engine-wise for awhile and i feel like building it and keeping it NA will be the best option, itll add power and reliability, as well as increasing fuel economy and if i want to add more power later it will be as simple as bolting on a supercharger and swapping pistons then a retune. and i love the way my pictures turned out and the best part is that with the exception of the one thats black and white with the yellow filter applied to a couple little touches they are all raw unedited photos.... apparently ive got some photo skills

Haha! All in good fun. Lowest Wagon I have seen!

And the intake tube looks good. What did you use to wrap it?
  • I really dig the rims, idk why white car with the deep dish black rims looks so good lol
  • Really sick, diggin the white with deep dish black rims
  • I really like the look of the black part under the rear window I don't know why but it really sets your car off. I think it's because you got the whole panda thing going looks good man
  • Clean build.

Thanks everybody, i use duck tape to wrap my intake, it comes in like 100 different prints so just whatever catches my eye is what i use, and my back hatch is plasti dipped, i could peel it right off if i wanted.
  • Wow someone else that uses plasti-dip. That shit is awesome I did my badges on my Lexus and a ton of other things love that stuff
  • Ha ha thats funny and creative. I use that stuff for my tools
