What is missing here?

Troubleshooting my Z6 swap

I found my heater inlet hose from the bottom of the head was leaking and also noticed it contacts a metal bracket on the transmission could rub another hole in time. What goes here to seperate the hose and bracket.

    nothing! the bracket is known as a "weeee part". Here is what u do with it! Take it off and throw over your left shoulder while yelling "weeeeeeeeee" works every time.

    Either slip a slit heater hose over the brkt , heater hose or both to prevent future rubbing.

    I just bent the O2 sensor bracket down and out of the way. Cracked heater hose so I cut off the end and stuck it back on. All good now but I am just keeping an eye on everything.

    I think if you loosen that transmission housing bolt, you can push that bracket down so its not contacting the hose.

    ..or just bend it. ha
