  • Cant remember the prices off the top of my head sorry. Check ipg parts and race eng as thats where i got 90% of my stuff from .

Its cool how we get the cargo compartments and sunroofs and stuff but Australia is so tight about modifying cars. You cant lower you car lower than the height of a coke can (thats any part of the car i.e exhaust cant be lower than a coke can) , not legally allowed to do much to your car in the way of mods either which sucks !!

Im really liking your exhaust btw swap'd-D , colour is going to look sick aswell!
  • Im currently trying to work out what throttle body to get. Im going with a skunk2 mani (with a zc adapter... BTW if anyone else is after an adapter please put an order in because i was the first of 4 so im still waiting on another three orders before production can start :S) and was thinking of getting a 65mm TB. Im planning on making roughly 200 maybe 250hp, would a 65mm be appropriate without reducing lower end performance?

    CHEERS
  • This thing is gonna be a beast on the road when your done with it! Awesome progress!
  • Thats what im hoping! Feeling a bit unmotivated at the moment as i havnt been able to drive the car in probably 10 months and atm im just collecting parts (waiting on an adapter plate for the intake mani). hopefully going to see a lot more progress soon though

Anybody (with experience) have some advice on TB size for me ? THANKS

  • removed the tranny from the d15 to make sure i got the right clutch.

Yeah you lucky bastards! That does suck about how strict they are though. I'd imagine some new cars don't pass the height standard though? Thanks for the compliments man! Looking forward to see where you take that lil ZC and the wagon!

Does your shuttle currently have mechanical fuel pump? Or a normal-ish low pressure pump in the tank?
  • There has been little to no updates in the last few months because i completely ran out of cash. As of yesterday i sold my civic eg and i am now going to use to money to get the wagon up and running. I am currently looking for a US site that sells OEM parts and ships to AUS (need water pump, timing belt and so on). IF ANYONE COULD RECOMMEND A SITE THAT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATE!
Got a question about the parts numbers as well, on d-series it lists the water pump as 19200-P01-004 but when i type this in to http://www.hondapartsonline.net/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=215743 it lists it as a part for a 1995 civic. also with the timing belt is listed as a 88 prelude on d-series but when i search for it on the same website it lists it as a part for a 1991 prelude. If anyone could shed some light on this it would help me a lot because i want to order ASAP.

@SIRge the wagons got an intake fuel pump atm which i will be replacing with the walbro

Great build, cant wait to see this on the road! Looks like its going to be an animal ;)

    PM sent re honda parts.

AFAIK all D series water pumps are the same, sorry I cant shed any light about the timing belt.
  • @Grifty cheers for the PM.
I rekn the timing belt is gonna be right (fingers crossed), they arnt too expensive anyway so ill give it a shot and if its not right just grab another one haha
  • Forgot, i actually have a small update. My ZC mani adaptor came in!

Spent the day cleaning up the engine bay and started to take apart the dash so i can get the harness out and start stripping the engine bay
  • just ordered water pump, timing belt, oil pump and a few gaskets from hondapartsdirect but i cant find:

If anyone could link me to a site that sells these (OEM) and ships to Aus that would be sick. cheers
  • GriftyGrifty Wagonist
I wouldn't be too fussed about the exhaust gasket, you can reuse your own. Unfortunately that website only does Honda parts, i dont think there are any Acura dealers that are allowed to ship to Australia anymore.

For the throttle body gasket, i believe all D series are the same.
  • JDMWago666JDMWago666 Senior Wagonist
AFAIK all b, d and h series throttle bodies are interchangeable and that would lead me to believe that the throttle body gaskets are the same also. I used a b18b throttle body and gasket on a y8 intake mani without any issues. Hope this helps, if not I'm sorry
