Anyone hava an opinion on aftermarket roof racks ie brand/model? And price estimates would be great.
I'm looking for mostly a bike rack...but something that could double as a luggage rack/storage rack would be ideal.

http://yakima.com/home.html play around on the "rack configurator"
good stuff.
You should be able to get an attachment so you can use your stock rack and still be able to use aftermarket parts. I know they make them for the Subarus, but Ive never looked into the Honda wagons.
I also have the Yakima receiver hitch bike rack. SWEET!

Do you have the part #'s for your oem compat. Yakima? Or maybe the product name?
I need, I need, I NEED.
FSC4wd,
what I found on the Yakima website for what we have is:
Landing Pad 7 (which is the crucial part that bolts directly into the OEM roof rack rail)
pad sold in sets of 2
#00221-#00227 (I assume these are the Yakima part numbers)
plus the regular equipment:
control towers
#00214 - set of four
#00212 - set of two
cross bars:
they come in four sizes 48", 58", 66", 78"
#00408, #00409, #00410, #00411 respectively
then your own choice of accessories to hold gear.
they have prices listed on the website as well, http://www.yakima.com
the Landing Pads are a little wonky to find, you have to go into the 'Products' tab, not 'Choose My Rack.' then select 'Rack Systems' and 'Factory Racks,' of course.

Love this board.
My roof rack comes from a mid-eighties Subaru Legacy. The width is just right.
The rack was held down with rivets on the Subaru but they popped right off after I pried on them with a flat screwdriver.
I screwed the roof rack right into the roof of my wagon and used rubber washers to make sure it wouldn't leak. I used Robertson head metal screws.
It actually looks stock !!
