We're pretty sure that replacement panels do not exist. Donor parts from a cadaver car are the best you can do.

    but...

in my opinion the amount of work involved isn't worth it. For what you will spend, you can buy a southern car or shell and bring it back home. I personally would summarily reject any car with as much as one tiny pinhole of rust..it's just the tip of the iceberg.

I wonder if these panels are close enough to work with.

  • yeah up north ya get what you can and work with it from there. but for 1k for a mint rt awd wagon with perfect interior and exterior -the rust i couldnt pass it up.

this is what it looks like if u take panels from 4gen sedan.

it's not the best option, but it's better than nothing. especially when u live in country where all the wagons are rusted to death :D

btw i had to cut panel in two halvesto make it fit, so there is "insert" in the middle.

  • I actually live in Ohio and I have a 1990 wagon so it's seen it's fair share of road salt so it has a fair amount of rust, I started sanding it today and I've been using rust converter for the rusted spots and it seems to work well. I'm going to bondo it later today ( since money is a problem) I'll let you know how it turns out

I used front fenders for rear arches.
  • find a wrecked wagon and hack it up, like me.

My car came from the great white north, and is nothing but rust.
  • The rust neutralizer actually worked really well, jut make sure I you use it you tape off your painted area and get really generous with the stuff.
Oh and follow the instructions, that always seems to help.
  • thanks guys for the options. i think this spring im going to cut away all the rust and mayb see if i can order some sedan 1/4s. a friend of mine is the best body work guy iv ever seen.. so hope he can make a rusted out 1/4 look like it came off the showroom.
