Hatch leaking? help

last couple rain's ive noticed the carpet is wet in the back. i checked all my weather stripping and there's no cracks or breaks in them. im not sure where its leaking from. anyone else had this problem? i guess i can put the hose on it and sit in the trunk and look for where its coming from....i just didnt know if these were notorious for leaking or anything?

    could be your brake light gaskets. notorious for leaking. should be some more info on here on what to do. mine leaks directly into the plastic side holders. i think somebody suggested caulking the old gaskets, letting them dry and reusing. i didn't let them dry and it didn't work. duh. gonna have to try again.
