- 92-95 1/2 radiator works well for clearing up some room, if you have an aftermarket front x-member then mounting them usually isn't an issue.
- Backdoor intercooler setups, while a little a tad more expensive really help where I/C pipe routing is concerned.
Backdoor
Normal
It could work, end tank to end tank length is a little narrow to use with a full width if a remember correctly.
The one i'm running on my crx came from CXRacing and was originally meant as an upgrade for a 1G DSM. It does work perfectly for either 1/2 of full width radiators with minor trimming of the sheet metal on the inside of the frame rail. Mainly this is to clearance for the I/C piping and end-tank outlets. The bumper shell will always need to be trimmed, since any EF/EE/ED chassis is woefully lacking in vacant bumper space. I'll post a link to it as well and an on car shot. Keep in mind my build is pretty large so the radiator support has been removed and the hood is custom to hide everything. However the rest of the geometry in the front is stock, so this type setup is very workable on a more civilized setup.
Top-down. Forgive the glare, it's a cell camera.
Front-shot.
Money-shot, still needs paint.

Like mentioned previously SRT-4 intercooler can be made to work, and people usually sell them cheap on the SRT/local forums. I got my backdoor I/C for free since I horse traded with a friend for it... I'm on a budget/cheap-ass too. lol
