I just got this bike which will be going on the wagon when I'm not riding it.
Also made a 400+ mile trip and this car is great apart from the tiny tank, bad mileage(for a civic lol), and it can slow down a lot on the bigger uphills. I'm used to my prelude, an ml430, and an slk350, lack of power is new to me.
Wrestled with the front knuckle all day. Ended up having to take everything out because we couldn't separate the knuckle while it was on the car. The 2 jaw puller ended up deforming the lbj stud so we need a new one.
Alright so we have ordered a new hub, we are getting everything pressed on friday, a new lower ball joint will also be pressed in, the rotors needs replaced or turned, and we need new pads. Then hopefully the car can be up and running.
Thanks for the advice, I totally agree. The knobs are illegal but it is an outdated law. The reason is because the steering wheel did the most damage to the driver in accidents back in the day.
I just realized you lived in Mukilteo - I used to work down there. Lived in Marysville though at the time and I grew up in Arlington.
Likin' the knob - and yeah they're "illegal", but I wouldn't worry too bad. A friend of mine had one on his classic Ford pickup and when someone hit him while he was driving it the officer on the scene in didn't say a word about it.

Where are you now? I need more local wagon friends. lol
I live in Billings, Montana now man. I come back occasionally, but probably wont be as frequent now, because I have a baby boy due in January.
I am going to try to make it back for the Spring meet if possible. Haven't decided if I will trailer my EK out or drive the Wagon out. The wagon is some serious slowness, so the idea of doing a Vitara build on it once my EK is ready for the season has been tossed around. I haven't driven anything as slow as my wagon in years and it HAS to change.

Congratulations man, it will be cool to see your car if you make it out. We are having an eastern Washington meet sometime in January if being half a state closer helps lol. And I know what you mean, I can't wait to boost this slow ass wagon.
Its a possibility, depends on date in January - My son is due to be born on the 26th, so I'll probably be hanging close to home around that time. And to be honest - he's the sole reason I bought another wagon (that and regretting getting rid of my old one). I dont want to have to unload my work truck every time I need to run him somewhere, so thats where the wagon comes in to play.
Then again plans changed, and my girl is probably going to become a stay at home mom instead of going part time, so I guess I probably didn't need to buy it after the fact, but what the hell - who doesn't want the awesomeness that is an RT4WD?!
Hurry up and put those lights on! I wanna see it... I may have to search for a set (or something similar) for mine!
Hell, I know we'll be going to Seattle for the IFO events in the spring. If you're ready for one of the most fun, insane roadtrips ever, my friends and I are the ones to go with. There is no lack of comedy, fun, but when it comes to being at the track we're about as serious as it can get.
You're more than welcome to come to those events too!
But yeah, if I go for the wagon meet in January, I will let you know for sure. Convoying is always fun, be it in the cars or with the trucks and trailers!

Edit: Supposedly Honda part numbers is the only thing I could find
