Very nice wagon...what are you planning for it?
  • ghettoryde, i was skeptical about 16's too. i've never had wheels this big but i really like them. fills out the wheel wells perfectly.

and as for plans, idk to be honest. i have almost every possible suspension component already and the motor runs great and gets awesome gas mileage. i recently coverted my a/c as well so it is a perfect dd. since i'm approaching 200k i'm thinking of freshening up an sohc vtec motor to throw in when my old d15b2 finally kicks the bucket(if it ever does lol..) i really want an SiR front and maybe a nice exhaust one of these days. i really need to get a rear toe kit so i can go lower without running out of toe in the rear(i'm maxed at my height now and don't feel like ruining my new falkens hah)

Sounds awesome man! My hopes are to replaces all undercarriage components as well... im anal like that...HOPEFULLY shes in the body shop next month!

But i need to roll fenders and widen my rt's while all that other stuff is happening.

Im trying to figure out what else ia want to do while shes stripped down...

    the wheels are rocking...
  • CLEAN 4 days!

Love the stance and subtle touches (IMO, its the small stuff that makes a car stand apart from the crowd).

    Well done sir.
  • 90shuttle - i always wanted a set of widened rt's, they look so damn awesome.

re*done - got lucky and found them on ebay for way too much money lol. some guy that sells sought after parts in japan(he has lots of other shuttle things too)

thanks for the kind words everybody, its not often that people even acknowledge my car so it makes me happy to hear people actually like it lol :)

got my new oem trailing arm bushings today, ordering my toe kit friday so i can go lower :D
  • What size tire are you running? looks like you got a bit of stretch. Or might just be the angles of your pictures.
  • 205/40 on a 16x8. slight stretch
  • Yea your car looks sweet. I'm going to do a 195/50 on a 15x8.

    what offset are they?
  • 195/50 looks good on a 15x8. gotta go low though

offset is +20. i have 2.5 degrees negative camber in the rear and 1.8 negative in the front. gonna pull the front in a bit and go another inch lower as soon as i get my new rta bushings and toe kit installed
  • I was originally thinking 15's for my car, but this may have changed my mind. I don't want to have to have it super slammed, and this thing looks really really good.

I just purchased my first wagon a few days ago and have been heavily debating on which wheels to purchase, my original thought was 15x8 but after seeing your wagon with 16x8 really has me torn on which size to go with!
Your wagon looks amazing by the way! Love the oem visors and hood bra
  • AWD-WAGONAWD-WAGON Wagonist
loving the wheel size aswell. Im looking for maybe a little more poke in the back but idk how 16x9 +15 will handle haha :s

  • oh and the wheels are 15x8 +12 all the way around with nexen 175/50's. i should mention that it took diamond racing almost 6 months to make these wheels... hopefully others will have a better turnaround than i did. they came out excellent though, so i guess i dont care haha.

Epic wagon man. I may have not caught it in your thread but did you custom make the dash mats?
  • the dash mat was actually a dealer installed option, its on the original bill of sale for the car back in '88 haha
  • Hot damn those wheels are nice; are they re-barreled? Im thinking about doing the same with mine. Dig the wheel and matching shift knob as well.
  • BillBoardBillBoard council member
