Super excited...(I FOUND ONE!)

Hey guys,
I'm pretty excited about my new purchase, even though I don't have it yet. I just put down a deposit on a 91 Civic Wagon (2wd because I know you'll ask). Here are the pics...

I won't pick it up until next weekend...hope I can wait that long. It's only got 90k miles and the only issue is some rust on the drivers side rear quarter. I had an 87 Wagovan for about 6 months last spring-summer, but sold it to a buddy who needed some transportation. I missed it dearly, but knew I needed an 88-91 to better suit me.

Plans are to rock it stock, maybe throw some wheels on it or clean up the steelies, and maybe do a MPFI swap. That'll be it for a while...that is until I get bored and throw a B20 in it. That'll be long way away though...

Yeah it's sqeaky...except for some driver side rear wheel arch rust. It's not too bad, but I definitely plan on taking care of that before winter. Why would I want to sell the bumper lenses?

dude, that thing is a virtual likeness to the wagon i will be picking up this week!!!

damn son its clean as hell, looks like it came of the showroom floor. 8)

i can feel your excitement as well!!!
  • I remember the ecstasy and the agony of owning my first wagon. I bought a Lada Signet wagon from a local dealer and couldn't pick it up until after the weekend because i was going on a fishing trip with buddies fomr work. We ended up doing more drinking and cardplaying than fishing...

I couldn't wait for Monday morning for my Dad to drop me off at the dealer and I could roll out with my wheels.

Congrats on your purchase. Your wagon sure looks like a sweety.
  •

    Nice wagon!!

i remember when my wagon looked like that... 17 years ago!
  • Quit talking about it already! I'm trying to put it out of my head until the weekend so I can get some stuff done! Sheesh!

    :P
  • Congrats on your new find! Enjoy it.
If you need anything, start here first. These guys are the bomb when it comes to advice or even parts sometimes :)

    Thanks.
I guess I failed to mention that I'm no stranger to the the Wagons as I had a rust free '87 Wagovan that I (regretfully) sold after only owning it for about 6 months. I posted on here for a while but had to take a break when I sold it because I kept wanting one every time I visited the site.

I'm also no stranger to the 88-91 Civics as I've owned a few CRX's over the past 5 years. I'm no pro, but have gone through enough learning with these things that I hope to contribute here as well. I'm just wrapping up my first B series swap in my CRX, which is also my first engine swap on my own.

    Is it the weekend yet?!?
