Your Maaco results?

Hi everyone. After quite some time it's looking as if I can start doing some -real- work to the wagon.
I was wondering how your Maaco painjobs turned out. Also, if you have any pictures that would be great.
Thanks,

Thanks for the reply btw.
Horrible quality (runs and orange peel) and like 503 said, they wont paint on top of your work. They sand everything after being told not too, only to leave some sanding marks too deep from low grit paper and very visible in paint haha (dont sound bitter do i?)
p.s. this was my experience with my chevy luv when i had them paint it
0.o
Then he'd blocksand out all the orange peel & runs. When done it look like a $5,OOO paint job.
i was satisfied with the paint result but very frustrated with the the prep.
what happened was, all the repaired parts of the car was primered several times and wetsanded with 400 grits. i specifically told the dude on the invoice dont sand the primered area and i take responsibility of the results after paint. not doing so, the who ever did the sanding used a orbiter sander and went over my car including the repaired area which took off some glaze and cause the imperfections to show a bit. especially my rear 1/4 panel
for some reason i dont see any primer on my bumpers. after 2 weeks are so, i wanted to paint my bumper and i used painters tape after applying and removing if off my shirt to make it less sticky, it still took paint off my bumper.
here is where i got my car back that day and they clearing dont listen to what i ask for. half my bumper molding was painted white in the rear
but its maccos, you get what you paid for right? i paid 470 for presidential and integrated clear coat.
it was a nice job + warranty.
I think a MAACO job would definitely be an improvement over what I got now.
Take a tally
in in for not getting the paint done there.
save up a little more, get it done right. the result is night and day.
Some states have already banned it, but its still in use in most states.
Water based paint isn't bad, you just can't be bad.
