With the motor out of the engine bay it made prepping easy. I scrubbed the crap out of it with purple power and sanded the rough parts. Primered, painted and cleared. Lots of masking too.
Thanks for the kind words though.

Cool, I'm most of the way there. All these videos I see say sand the whole thing but if I can just do the rough spots I might have time to get it done. Also, very nice looking engine bay!
UPDATES
Now that the engine bay is done I decided to finally install my fuel pump. Sorry I do not have pictures of the fuel pump installed(kinda hard to do so) but it's in there I promise
Also while I was back there, I decided to do some more painting.
Ditched the purple lcas and did the same color as the engine bay.
So the finish on the ronals were not that great:( I tried EVERYTHING but the last rim I sanded and stripped would not come out properly.
So I decided to paint them.
Before
Primed
Painted
Plus I have my 195/50r15 tires on and ordered my spacers to get them to fit:)
I like them shaved:)
B18b valve cover all sanded and prepped for the final color
Got bored and decided to test out a color I've been very curious about it
Any thoughts on the color?
Also block is being assembled slowly. Crank, rings and pistons are in.
Update time
Spacer/adapters came in for the ronal r10s and got them fitted, extremely pleased with the fitment
Motor is not in yet but will be soon
Took it out of the garage to do some cleaning and snapped pic for my fellow wagoneers:)
Hope you like
Finally got some updates!
Motor is all put together and will be in soon. Decided against boost so that's a no go but got something else going for it. Ronals are currently being sold(worked a deal with a friend) so now I gotta find something else for the wagon.
Anyways I know you don't like reading so heres some pictures
CTR pistons are heavy and have not so good flame travel. It has been tested and proven more than a few times that the ITR pistons can and do make more HP in the same motor that CTR's were tested in.
Thanks for the info but I'm not looking to get MASSIVE power out of them. Just looking for more pep in my step.
UPDATE
Motor is all put together and the engine bay harness is almost done. Once the harness is complete than the motor can be dropped in. All I have left is the battery kit.
UPDATE TIME:)
Motor is complete and in
Everything from the bottom to top was done today(except the wiring harness)
Motor is in along with axles, shift linkage, fuel system and cooling system(except the radiator, let a friend borrow it for mock up and hasnt returned it)
All that is left is the engine bay wiring harness and the battery relocation kit.
Anyways on to the pictures
AND some teaser shots of the new color
Wagon will, hopefully, be done by the end of the month.
So the wagon has to be put on the back burner. I finally got my Integra front and rear disk brakes, a brand new 4 wire o2 sensor with pigtails, that battery relocation kit and enough money to buy my Optima Battery that I want
THAN
I had my tools in my Colt(since it's been having some issues lately) and they get stolen from the Colt while I was at work. Now I had all my tools in the backpack, the o2, and ALL the bolts, nuts and clips for the front end to my wagon. ALL OF THIS got stolen. Work tells me that they reveiwed the tapes and saw nothing, which is total BullSH**
Now I have none of the clips and stuff to piece my front end together and the BRAND NEW o2 sensor with pigtails.....GONE
This really BLOWS. I have to replace all my tools and find all the clips and buy another o2 sensor. Wagon will be on the back burner for IDK how long now.
Pardon the caps on some of the words. Not trying to sound like I'm screaming or anything.

dumb thieves dont respect hard work and money thats put into our car hope things turn better and the wagon comes back out
UPDATE!!!
If you are looking for pics this is not the place to be, my camara was stolen along with everything else that one fateful day:(
Anyhow, I bought me a little tool kit and got to work on some things. First thing first was getting my garage clean cuz a dirty garage is not very motivating.
Than I finished up the paint on the front end of the wagon and finally installed my integra front brakes. Just waiting on my friend to be home so I can pick up the rear disk and I can put those on next along with the 15/16 master cylinder:)
More to come I haven't lost interest in this wagon yet
Still no pics for my updates BUT I do have updates.
Wagon has been converted to OBD1 and battery relocation is complete.
Fired it up for the first time in almost 9 months. Runs great but the idle is still off. Still throws a IACV code. After firing it up for the first time I noticed it leaking a bit. Replaced the oil pan gasket, no more leak and it's running again
I'll try and get some pics up soon, not exactly the easiest thing to do without a camara.
