Hood looks amazing. I love the zc hood. Too bad they have to be custom made to work on the wagons or else I'd have one on mine already.
Still in love with your wagon. Can't get enough of it.
Cheers man! Got some more bits for the front end planned. I really want J's Racing style Poly Lip. But they want to charge me pretty much more than the actual lip itself to ship it! So, got something else planned for now
Freakn' love it man! I've been wanting to do the CF wrap on one of my cars ever since my first trip to SEMA a few years back. Looks amazing!! ... Not sure how it would stand up to the crazy negative temps we have in Alaska though
Having a Shuttle is one thing, but having a Shuttle sitting outside your house with everything custom-made by yourself is another thing; and I think thats what makes it so special as a vehicle. The whole car has been transformed into something that loves to be stared at, loves to be heard and loves to be driven right, Eden as an owner has created something so unique and special, that even the Shuttle is proud of him.
Congrats on the publication! Nice writeup and nice ride! Love the quote above===^ :encouragement:
Got some Dope Winter Rims (Dope terms used loosly...) TSW in Powder Coated gold. Got them for £50 along with some Toyo T1R 195/55/15 for £25 (Cba to do the £ > $ Conversion...)
Week later. Oil pump went on me Engine had about 105k on it
So, Picked up a new D16Z6 with 55k on it from an Auto EG
Out she comes
Fitted a new steering rack whilst the engine was out. seemed to made sense. (Rack is Second hand with 27k on it)
new inner tie rods and boots
And prepped the new engine. Swapped sump and oil pickup, new OEM Honda oil pickup tube gasket and pattern sump gasket. New Hamp filter and a lick of paint
Gave the bay a quick clean
Ready to go back in
and shes in! With some issues...
Got it started. Running Rough. After 2 hours i find the TPS and MAP plugs the wrong way round - DOH! Swap them round and it Runs sweet as a nut
Then, I round of the Gearbox Fill plug - FUUUUCkkkk!!!!!
Limped it round to a mates garage which some serious Toe-In from doing the rack. Blowtorch and some Mole Grips. Out the chewed nut comes. Fresh Gearbox oil and new plug.
Then had it track and drives real nice. The steering feels alot lighter than it did before with the new rack. Will need to look into that a bit more.
Took it for a spin and lost all power - Accidentally attached the old Redundant Alternator -> Fusebox wire. Which earthed out.
All finished just in time for 4GUK's Annual Weekender and Dyno Day.
New engine made 133bhp/111ftlbs. Pretty happy with that! (Stock ECU, J's Intake, Home Made 2" Mandrel Exhaust. Code 9 on ECU)
Also fitted a new Poly lip i got from eBay USA. Had to trim the top of the bumper as it covered most of my foglights. Looks good i reckon!
