you've put in work! like what i'm seeing. soon to have a similar swap before my 'real' swap... if possible, can you give me a step-by-step on your valve cover paint job? shoot me a direct message is anything for that one... you just did an amazing job on yours, its so damn fucking clean, rather take advice/tips from ya than others or DIY's that I've read. which are no where near decent as yours, oddly.... anyways, keep up the progress and updates, i'll be watching!
i love the black colour on your valve head! the idea with the batterie there is great-i have mine in the middle of the trunk but now i cant get a spare tyre with me-how many ampere houre´s does the small battery have?
I had snapped the ear bench seat release pins ages ago, which is rather annoying!
Had to rip apart the seat to get to the Mechanism inside.
Difference in pins - Hatch on the left, Shuttle on the right
Then set about sorting out my front LCA's, as ive got some movement which shouldnt be there...
Got these LCA's for FREE from Walsh at JAE :top:
New bushes in, Lick of paint
The culprit....
Installed! - 20 Mins per side - real easy to do 8)
Action Shot!
Also De-tailed my Front wheels - as they got ALOT of abuse from the brakes to and from work - i only clean the car every other week, so it soon cakes on.
Before - Wasnt happy about the CV Grease, thats 2 New CV Boots ive gone through since ive owned the shuttle - Something isnt right here....
nice progress man that things came along way keep it up i wish i had the ambishin to do that much work in one week. love the color and the fogs including the rear.
The Waaagon is still alive! This is my DAILY drive, it covers Approx 250 Miles a week.
Unfortunately...The Water pump failed on me yesterday, Luckily just 30 seconds from work! Water pissing out the pump (My luck and Water pumps eh?) Fucking thing is - I spent ££ on PROPER coolant just last week....Which is now somewhere along the A52.
So, i needed to get home - Low and Behold, K-Seal FTW! Stopped the leak in 2 mins and got me home!
