-Fit Recaros
-Fit Momo
-Fix Exhaust Blow

-Fit Intake
-New Radiator
-Polish entire Car

And a ton of other boring bits....
Currently, she doesnt look how i want. Due to the corroded coilovers i cant go lower on the Rear, The rear bumper is Saggy (Due to a rear shunt some time in its life), the front bumper sits to low (10mm gap under the lights), The Fogs dont sit right (Due to the bumper Sagging)
the VR6 splitter was killed on its first 20 miles on the road! i borrowed Trade Plates from work to get it to the MOT, got to work and the splitter had died! So swapped it for a GTi item. MUCH better.
The bonnet has VERY bad laquer peel (Alot worse than it is in the picks due to being weather), Drivers wing has a Random hole and is correded where the mudflap fits
The wheels where a NIGHTMARE! couldnt get the bolts undone. So i cut every single one off! and replace them all. I had to ordered some special valves as the ones fitted where badly corroded (3.50 PER valve) The nuts and bolts cost £30 all together (Inc Postage) Wheels painted in Body colour.
Theres alot ive missed out! but as i write this i cant think of anything!
Any Q's, just ask :top:

Can you provide any info on the fog lights and measurements used to cut bumper.
There will be no asking for parts in member threads. If you want a part you post a WTB in the marketplace. Any soliciting of car parts outside the marketplace won't be tolerated. Ragenasian
Thanks,

Long beach, CA
That shuttle cleaned up nice.
You fixing the rot?
I thought you had to, to pass MOT.
OEM Bosch Ones. If you look on the inside of the bumper, there are lines for 2 cut outs. Bosch and Stanley.
the BOSCH ones dont hold the JDM Tax like the Stanleys do
Rot was fixed for the MOT
I really like those wannabee's.
I guess they remind me of my panasports and my drag16's.
Plus I really like that maroon color.
Keep up the good work and keep us updated on the progress.
Do both of your wings have holes in the top or just one?
If it is both I think somebody had wing mirrors in them.
I saw on ebay somebody selling a set or rare shuttle wing mirrors.
It is that or somebody put an after market ariel in it.
Rich
Previous owner confirmed it was for an aftermarket ariel.

what recaros are those?
also is that a montero/pajero towing it?
Decided to sort the front end! Sidelights didn't sit correctly, Bumper was all saggy and sat to low, which meant MASSIVE gaps. Fog lights don't sit properly etc.
So...
Before i started.
Off with its head!
Fog light Brackets
spaced out the Bumper bar, to Lift the bumper 2-3mm
Extended the bolt holes 5mm for extra adjustment
And extended the fog light bracket holes for more adjustment.
Sidelight Gap after
Front end after
Also fitted some new ARB drop links. 15 minute job!
Fitted some OSRAM Night breakers
And some Amber sidelights!
Wired up the Fogs Today
Done for this week!
Another update
Straightened out the rear bumper earlier...
Before.
Good paint for 23 years old!

Making sure all the springs have the same, correct Pre-Load
MORE Grease!
Old VS New
More pics tomorrow....
Also fitted some new, Chrome Internal Drive wheel nuts for a bit of extra security. The old Red ones, Ive had for 3 years now and they have started to show their age, and the color has faded quite a lot on them, and they really let the wheels down. Wheels look 200x better with these new chromes ones. Really compliments the Polished bolts and really sets the wheels off!
Another thing as well, the Turbo WILL be delayed for at least another 2 months, and will NOT be turbo for JAE as promised.
Reason?
Well, the front suspension needs some TLC, the Radios Rod Bush's have gone and the steering is rather "Special". Overall the steering is Vague. I don't want 7psi put through a car i cant feel that well.
The engine also has a leak which i CANNOT source the location of! Ive changed the Cam seal, Crank seal, Sump Gasket and Rocker Gasket. Cleaned the block and it is STILL Leaking. So Ive had to go for some new Seals, using some better marked Pattern parts rather than eBay Specials i have installed.
I also want the car to LOOK 100% for JAE, so it will be going in for Paint in August. Which unfortunately, will not leave me enough funds to go Turbo, Unless i sell ALL my goodies for the EF2 (Spec 2, VT Lights, Looms, Charge speed etc).
So, Turbo will come September time!
Can you show us how you installed the recaros? I'm planning to do the same.
What car's LCAs did you use? Just fork-type for EF/DA? Or EG/DC?
Rebuilding shocks, I have some Zeals that I want to rebuild DIY because they are trying to charge me $350 each shock to rebuild! Figured it's only seals, how hard could it be? :P Or did you not rebuild them, did you just clean them up to look new again?
