I'm sure something custom could be made. Your best bet would be go down to a wrecker or find a friend with a stock crx rear sway bar. Take it and see how it matches up to your car and you will see how a custom one or modified aftermarket one might fit.
crx rear control arms would be good to get as well because they are pre-drilled for the sway bar. or get some aftermarket ones, i saw some on here the other day in that thread were the guy was pushing those 24way coilovers.
The beds I made arent pretty, but functional. I also had to swap LCA's when I lowered my car cause the bolts in them rusted to nothing. I ended up just taping a hole just under where the stockers bolt up to and rand a bolt through and secured it with another nut on the backside.
Heres a pic, not a good one, but you can see how I taped the rear LCA's.
Damn shenrie beat me to it.
Does anyone know the answer to this? I just pick one up for a coupe, wondering if it would work.
Check the end link. It is istalled incorrectly. The bar end should be above the control arm and in a horizontal position. To accomplish this
may I suggest you look for a prelude si rear sway bar end link (will provide a photo later) and a .5" shim under the frame mount. The shim positions the center of the bar for adequate clearance and the link puts the end arm in the perfect position. Working on mine now and will provide pictures soon. 90-93 integra swaybar + same yr control arms (installed in the reverse postion to bring the mount tab to the rear of the car) + the links mentioned (to check reference). The set-up provides a pro job!!!!!
I think the Euro ones may differ there. We get a single tow hook in hte centre. I thought it was the same for you guys. I don't recall seeing so many bolt holes in that area under mine, but could well be mistaken.
It is the end link that is installed upside down. The sway bar end should be positioned above the LCA. Just unbolt at the LCA and move the bar and install bolt. I do have the correct endlink for the perfect fitament.
Need to check the reference model and year--will do that this morning and get back with you. Believe me it puts your swaybar in the perfect position and looks stock.
Turbo-teg I am working on a post above this one that starts to describe a sway bar installation. No photos until Thursday. I am also finishing my end links and the complete set-up will be photographed and posted when complete.
