$300 a year ago. Been running strong, only had to replace dizzy and pass. axle. Passes emissions and hasn't failed me yet. Many thousands of KMS (Miles) in road trips and random cruises, no hiccups. I love it! She'll be getting a lot of love fairly soon .
$1000 CAD , came with 4 sets of shocks/lowering springs, 2 spare headlights, a full set of spare tail lights, brand new spare gas tank, OEM exhaust and muffler, a spare front Sub frame, spare rear sub frame, spare front and rear hubs, spare drivers side fender and a full B16A swap ready to drop in
1300 for a completely stock 89 5 speed in perfect running condition with all functioning accessories and 800 for a 90 obd1 swapped with gorgeous harness big brake conversion and camber kit and one of the mintest interiors I've seen but no motor and trans.
$1000 with a low mileage JDM motor, new tires, new battery, new distributer, new radiator and a slushy transmission. needed a fender too, but pick n pull took care of that! I am planning to paint it this summer and throw on some 15" wheels with a serious drop. Daily driver so I can keep my bodydropped minitruck in the garage. I added fogs, a 1st gen teg lip, old school grant steering wheel, headlight tint, and a new heater blower motor (PITA)
$2500 bone stock with a fresh rebuilt D16A6 with reciepts.. took a look through the glovebox when i got home and came with everything that the car had at the dealership (RT4WD tag that hung from the rear view, service manual with log of services, and owners manual), also came with regular steelies and RT steelies (the RT's were rattlecanned red for some unkown reason so i have to restore them)
$2000 for my '91 RT4WD. Everything is in mediocre to good shape, I'm nowhere near a "mechanic" but from my perspective it runs well. I've put almost 1000 miles on it in the last month and had no major problems other than rattles and knocks from suspension and driveline. Have yet to get it checked out professionally, I think I'm scared of what I'll hear from a mechanic!
Paid 3k for my 88 RT4WD, came with a trunk full of goodies and almost brand new tires. New motor with 85K on it and all the paperwork and service records going back to 1988. It also came with 1987 first edition service manual for 88-89 civic wagons.
First one got it for 350$ had to replace all seats windshield 2doors and a fender...2wd 1990 overall 6/10 at purchase 200k
got my 1991 rt4wd for 600$ needed a.c 8/10 total spent....
poverty 12k $ over 6-7 years232k
I got my first wagon, blue 88 RT4WD for 1500, tons of little problems. Clean California title, was a Washington car until 2012. Rusted beyond reasonable repair
My second wagon, red 91 RT4WD I picked up today for 1460. Clean California title, no rust which is amazing considering it's from New York. Clean just needs paint on driver's fender and driver's corner light.
I got mine (fwd auto) for $1829 ($1700 and the used car dealer would get the tags and all that crap for me). He wanted $2200 for it but my dad talked him down. If i did the negotiating The price would've gone up!
Anyways I was getting desperate as I was originally going to inherit my dads rt4wd. He inherited it from HIS father and got it running in good shape... He sold it to some lady down the road for like 2500 or so... He told me it had too many problems for it to be a first car so he helped me find my own...
I'll edit my beginning and now pics in when I get on my computer. iOS doesn't like me putting pics in >:(
i've done more on the inside than the outside. Been saving up for rims for a while now....
ANOTHER EDIT:
I apparently don't know how to put pictures from an iPod in..... I'll get this done right one way or another... does anyone wanna help me out on this one?
Paid $1400 for my '85 4WD 6 speed. Drove it home 100+ miles and has been my daily since. Exterior is a little rough but over all in pretty good shape. Came with all the dealership documentation in the glove box. Love his little car!

It had a bad head gasket:
