went to Red Fish Lake for my brothers wedding... lots of driving in the Fit, started in spokane- stayed the night in Missoula at the SerialKiller Inn (also know as the Sleep Inn- i wouldnt reccommend the hotel).... drove to Red Fish the next day (stayed at the Cabins there; better than the SerialKiller Inn).... then the wife wanted to go to anthropology on the way home, and i FUGGIN LOVE Newt & Harrolds, so we drove through boise... (stayed at Hotel43; so fuggin nice!!!)...
anyway here are some pix taken along the way...
o and i got new license plate frames, since everyone hates my dealer frames...
(i should mention Fatlace is a great company to deal with, they originally only sent me 1 frame [when i ordered 2], so i called them and they gave me an email address to voice my complaint. i thought "o boy im never gonna get that plateframe", but they were super quick to reply to my email with-in an hour, and had sent me the new plateframe by the end of the day..... the new plate came quick and with a bunch of bonus stickers...
not yet installed- lols... ive been on the run since i got home....
painted (plastidip) my foglight covers black... Im VERY satisfied, i think they turned out awesome....
relocated my licenceplate to the towhook location and put on my fatlace license plate covers... it covers the corner of foglight, but i think im ok with it for the time being...
there was a hole from screw where the original license plate location was. i went to ace and bought a little plastic plug and painted it with my touch up paint....
nice toolbox. i want, my little plastic POS is packed as tight as i can get it to close.
i was having the exact same problems, so i got this at sears for 90 dollas on clearence.... worth every penny- its already completly full... i need another one...
installed sidemarkers, took about 2 hours longer than I thought it would...
much more work than I expected...... o well... i have to touch up a couple of spots where the dremel got away from me... lols... BIG thanks to CHARBEEEEEEZE for helping with this project and for the dremel and the shop!!! fun times really, i love working on cars...
FIT looks beast. now get some "real" wheels on there!
did you use any touch-up paint on the fenders? i did when i "tore" into the Shuttle. been good for 4 years now.
i managed to get some side-markers for the Saab from a EDM WRX, but i am way too scared to punch holes in those fenders.. at least for now haha.. props to you for doing it
