Lols.... none planned right now, but you never know what I'm gonna do....
Better sleep with one eye opened cause I'm gonna drive by and put a tow
Hook on your car....
so while browsing through the Fit Forums I ran into a thread claiming that every Honda Fit came with an OEM tow hook; you can imagine my excitement... I was very sceptical that this was true, but it was- they do indeed come with a little tow hook located in the lug wrench bag in the trunk.
i found mine still in bubble wrap in the trunk
take cap plastic cap off front bumper and drill hole.
buy plasti-dip (first time using this product- i like how it sprays so far and i hear it holds up very well)
OEM > aftermarket aluminum crap that will probably break if you try to pull the car out of a ditch
i randomly(boredom...) joined fitfreak... OEM FIT wheels would probably look great on a wagon... i think the axle back exhaust from a FIT might be close to fitting the wagon

I think it will come out nicely... I like that its OEM and included with car- i honestly really wasnt going to put a tow hook on, but it explains the cut out on the bumper and i like it...

for sure... i believe there is a wagon around here somewhere with Fit wheels on it...

I know you cant not put shin bleeders on your vehicles, but with this one you could have at least shaved off the lettering and smoothed it out before painting it red. Dont get lazy on us Bill

ok so whats the deal on the Plasti-dip...????? do u give it the thumbs up or will a blue jay land on that ring and scratch it off.... ( i ask because im thinking of using it on a few things But SCRAPPY is no show ride ... so its gotta withstand the elements and b durable .. )

no word yet on plasti-dip... at work right now, will install today and time will tell durability- everyone says it with holds longer/better than spray paint... i will update later today perhaps...
i say go for it... scrappy may be the ultimate durability test...
Billboard - FYI: I believe you need to fit an extension on the hook in order to get it to stick out far enough to poke through the hole in the tow hook hole cover. I think it sits a little too close without the extension. I could be wrong.
i had trouble drilling this hole- ROFL... and i anihilated the paint- so i may be buying a new little cover and giving drilling a hole another try... it was tricky i didnt have a big enough drill bit- clearly.... razor blade oops
but i found a nice little black ring insert at Ace made for plumbing... had i not scraped the paint up- i would be happy with results...
the tow hook actually goes into the bumper just a little bit... i used a couple of washers to get it to stick out this far...
Looks good senior, where did you get the plastidip stuff at?
thanks, i got plasti dip at acehardware
i love getting prizes in the mail... i wanted to test this website cause it looks so sketchy even though im sure you all have ordered off of it before (icbmotorsport.com), but their website looked sketchy/fake-ish/cheap to me... anyways so i ordered a couple small parts to test shipping time/reliability etc...

had to take the bezzel surround off to get to the hazard switch...
now you just need the red dot fit badge on the back rather than the usdm blue one.
or an emblem that says "jazz"
