How's it feel with 10psi? I would think the differance between 7-10 or 12 would be huge. Seems to always be a big differance in that area.
it wasnt like OH MY GOD faster but u could definetly tell im so addicted to boost i want to turn it up but i know it would just lead to blown headgaskets, broken rings lands, or even worse a rod blown throught the front of the block. this will work for now i can still dyno tune it to add some timing for a lil more power other than that this motor is as far as i want to push it i just cant wait till i get the vtec head on with the vittara pistons, block guard, camgear and of course a new headgasket so i quit pissing oil all over my engine.
I've got it, but thankfully we supra folk can throw 30 psi at our stock bottom end without problems. metal head gasket, ARP studs, and you're all set...
I've been good lately, leaving it at 19psi with a 60-1 upgraded stock turbo.
er....the turbo's good for 28+psi....
and...more power is good....
the maft pro will re-tune itself off my wideband input...
AHHHHH I need to go to bed before I blow up my car.
BTW, your videos kinda sealed the fate of my wagon's dohc zc....I'm going to be boosting it with part of my tax return. woot!
how much boost are you looking to raise it to? this could be a good thing to see how much the wagon can handle. something to show off and maybe even sticky to let noobs know. how's the head coming along tho?
that video im running 12lbs im just kinda lazy and not wanting to spend the money on vittara pistons, rods, headgasket, timing belt, water pump, tensioner, and i havent bought all my tuning crap since im tired of spending $300 just to get something street turned when i know i can do it myself. if anyone on here has any info to help me out on learning to tune with crome pro please dont be shy any and all help is much apreciated. im happy with the set-up for now so i dont plan on turning up the boost anymore till the head and pistons go in.
